it's so bad because of start of your turn kind of effect.
and completely dead card against aggro(except you have Voidlord, Doomguard or anything that has effect on board immediately)
I think it is terrible. The fact that you are summoning the demon at the start of your turn means that you cannot even attack with it.
Not to mention 5 mana do nothing the previous turn.
Its might have potential in a very heavy control wild demonlock. If you only roll high cost demons while clearing the board and healing you should be able to stabilize. Also, in conjunction with Voidcaller you can reliably play cards like Lakkari Felhound that were previously too detrimental to play in a control deck and would be of great benefit when you Bloodreaver Gul'dan
I don't think people will play shitty demon in controllock deck to just hope that they'll draw the only card in your deck which everyone have a counter card of it.
Its not like you can attack with a demon (unless it has charge) when you play it. So getting a demon into play at the start of your turn or during it is irrelevant. The good thing about it is that it avoids annoying battlecries like discarding cards or taking damage when you play said demon, so unless your opponent has an immediate weapon response this weapon is great.
Even The Runespear is laughing at this weapon
Cant wait to give this to my non warlock opponent and give myself gorehowl with Blingtron 3000.
This will happen eventually...
Pretty underwhelming compared to the other weapons so far... Excluding The Runespear of course.
5 mana do nothing. There's going to be a lot of Harrison's and Ooze's in the upcoming meta and this card is going to get almost no value as a result of it. Why would Blizzard make this an at the start of your turn effect? 400 dust.
Free demons! Great if you can get some free minions out of it. Terrible if it gets Oozed or Harrison'd immediately. Generally this card won't be worth running Demons with bad Battlecrys because it'll be destroyed asap.
I like it!
But it is at the start of your turn, So it is pretty slow and gives your opponent the chance to put it back where it belongs(in a museum).
Still a 5/7 charge, 3/8 taunt, etc with no downsides is worth testing out. Big EZ Skull'dan?
Do you draw a card and then the weapon effect triggers, or vice versa?
I am asking because if you draw first, that means that if you set up ideal hand, and then at the start of turn if you draw some crappy demon, all your plans can be ruined :\
The weapon will likely trigger before you draw a card. The same way Alarm-o-Bot pulls a minion from your hand before you draw.
new 6/18 Void Lord taunt over 4 bodies, 3/8 taunt, 5/7 charge, mal'ganis; there's hardly an absence of demons with effects that can affect the field without them needing to attack, not to mention the size of some you can pull like a jaraxxus that you can taunt up with a 1/1 or so forth. This will see play in demon decks, others unlikely, but it's going to be more powerful than the priest dragon spam weapon in demonic decks.
oh no! a nerf to my Malkorok D:
this card will live or die depending on the amount of weapon removal in the meta. You're going to feel bad if this gets oozed or harrisoned and just wasted 5 mana on nothing.
If this read at the end of your turn, playable. Most things where you have wait till the beginning of your own turn are not good.
