Mimic Pod doesn't draw you two cards. It draws you one card, and then puts a copy of that card into your hand. So it would draw one Ambush! which would activate instantly, summoning you a 4/4 spider and drawing a card. Then it would add a copy of Ambush! to your hand which would cost 4 mana, summon a 4/4 and draw you a card. People seem to think it'll be like the Nerubian Ambush or the Burrowing Mine in that they won't do anything from your hand, but those cards specify "When you draw this, do this" but have no effect when played from hand. Whereas this one just says "Summon a 4/4 spider, Draw a card. When you draw this, cast it" which means it'll actually do something from hand.

It does if you add it to your hand with tracking or something of the sort, i  gave a detailed explanation, please do read properly.

This is insane! Playing both in a match gives you 6 4/4s for free as the game goes on, and the statline is decent for a 4-drop.

The power level of this expansion seems incredibly high.

The Fal´dorei are an accidential (d)evolution of the nightborne that tried to live without the moonwell. Their source of power was a tree which they soaked their energy from, the so called Arcandor. The place where they planted the Arcandor was a ruin called Fal´dorei. The only problem was that this tree overloaded. The nightborne that didn´t die from this tragedy transormed into spider like (or somewhat nerubian looking) transormations between animal and nightborne. That´s why they have an almost normal face but also the corpse of a spider and they almost lost their ability to speak. 

Do the Ambushes activate Combo?

no, if you click the source provided its mentioned that they are not treated as cast by you

Combo activates when you play a card, this summons. So, no.

edit: and youdon't play the card out of your hand either. So, no again.

this will be scary to play against! it gives 0 mana 4/4s and does not deny card draw!

Beneath the Grounds has the same exact text (except that the ambushes are put in your deck with this card), so these ambushes should draw you a card as well. plus not drawing a card would be stupid
