Card Clarification
- If you get this in your hand somehow (Thoughtsteal for example) they are castable spells that summon a 4/4. (Source)
- When you draw an Ambush it doesn't cost any mana. They cast automatically for 0 mana. They don't trigger Auctioneer or Pyromancer when this happens. (Source)

I don't think so, for the same reason Thoughtsteal won't automatically cast them: the copy is "added" to your hand instead of drawn. So the "drawn" card from Mimic Pod will trigger, but you will likely get the "copy" in your hand to cast (which could be very beneficial since it could then trigger spell counts, combo, Auctioneer, and all the other stuff it doesn't trigger when draw-cast).
Yeah, this good sounds good in theory, but when you play it, it is a 4 mana 4/4. Sure, in the long game, this card will get you some value, but Rogue still doesn't have any healing, what kind of "long con" do you want to play without that? We need to see all the cards of this expansion, but I doubt they will release any viable healing for the class. I think you are better off playing Valanaar in the 4 mana slot. Good arena epic though.
Perhaps that's the case in Standard.
If you think that Rogues have difficulty playing a long game, however... try facing off against a Wild Mill Rogue. You think you're ahead, and then they Vanish your board. You play a big guy and they sap it. You get them down to <10 health, and they drop a Brann + Antique Healbot to get back to solid ground.
Having this sort of card is going to be nuts in that context.

16/16 in stats for 4 mana is nothing to sneeze at. if you can play 2 that's 32/32 in stats for 8 mana. Miracle rogue usually ends up drawing their entire deck over the course of the game with auctioneer so it's very likely you would draw a lot of these fairly quickly.
What do you need healing for in Aggro Rogue? And miracle never really needed healing since it won way earlier than many decks and cleared the board pretty well.
If only it shuffled into the enemy's deck and summoned for you, would be nice to have a beneath the grounds for priests

This card is awesome!.
It's a 9.9/10 for me because it doesn't shuffle the spiders in your opponent's deck like Beneath the Grounds to counter Raza the Chained. Otherwise, this could have been my all-time favorite.
Having them added to your deck has its pros and cons. Rogues generally cycle cards a lot faster which makes summoning the nerubians in time a breeze, however countering Razakus decks might be far more valuable than that.

Sure you can't exactly control when you get them, but still, it's free 4/4's. Also on the off chance the opponent mills your deck, there is the chance that it will mill the Ambush card instead of your important key pieces.

This is the best card for four cost. Excellent.
If you manage to draw any 0 mana trigger card with cards like tracking be it the mine from the GVG warrior legendary or such, you can play them for 0 mana and they literally do nothing; they do however count as spell synergy for mana wyrms and auctioneers. I don't know if thistle tea or mimic pod would add a copy of this to your hand but if they do you won't get a 2nd spider, just a 0 mana near useless spell with its only worth being combos or synergy with auctioneer, violet teacher and so forth. I've only tested it by using tracking on vengeful curses and mines you can try it with mimic pod but the effect should again be the same as the aforementioned.
