play small minion~ minion die & the damage goes to ur face
play big minion~ take the damage & probably dying or dead 

or even worse. play big minion & countered by Potion of Polymorph / Mirror Entity

what happens if we summon The Darkness when enemy set this trap?

This is by far the craziest tempo card mage has to offer. 

And another bullshit card that compliments a bullshit deck that secrets mage is. This is why we can't have nice things.

Now Face mage have 4 fireball in thier deck and 2 of it can be cast before turn 4, Thank you Blizzard STOP BUFFING AGGRO SHIT BY CONSTANTLY CREATED FACE DAMAGE CARD PLS.

If this hits a minion that's already dead — say, for instance, you played a Loot Hoarder against Snipe and Explosive Runes — it may deal more than 6 damage to the minion's controller. In this case, the Hoarder is at -3 after the Snipe, and so Runes will hit the player for 9! I imagine this is a bug that will get fixed soon, but it does make things a little more interesting.

What is this? A fireball with cost 3 that kills your minion and also hit you.

Sorry but being hater but need to think about it, mage have so much dmg spells that can kill you without use any minions, if you give her a spell that can be casted on turn 3 (without talking about the plus of it can be casted for 0 mana), its imposible for any class take advantage on the turn, because its like a Doomsayer, you wont cast a value card in that turn or if you do it, you will loose it, plus the face dmg.

In my opinion i want blizzard think about it and reduce the dmg to 4, that its so good, like the Flamecannon that was so good in the past.

5 Damage to ur face from Explosive Runes damage (-1 damage from divine shield minion even though the minion got 0 damage)

Yeah, 5 not 6...I am really confused by that interaction tho, Divine Shield says the first time a minion receives damage, ignore it...shouldn't the Explosive Runes just take out the shield then, with no further damage to anything??

THANK GOD, they fixed it. Divine shield minion reduces all of the damage now.

Possibly could break through Ice Block. I can just see opponent playing Exodia Mage and getting killed after their first Apprentice.

Literally just happened to me playing against exodia. about to do the combo and plays their sorc apprentice first for stupid reasons and lost to it lmao

all they need to do to play around it is play antonidas if they have the full combo so it tanks the 6 damage and lives 

By not even playing the quest variation of Exodia Mage in the first place? Using the Simulacrum Leyline Manipulator deck instead??? Never said anything about Time Warp?

Maybe think next time.

It's written "Face Mage" all over this card.
