In arena its VERY GOOD. Why ??? 1-st of all its a neutral card. 2-nd its Rare soo it will been seen a lot. 3rd-VALUE OF THE DIVINE SHIElD AND TAUNT TOGETHER.
Learn how to spell neutral, rare and third (3rd) they're very simple words
Tol'vir Loneshaper
Anti-control card, good against zoolock and token shaman
Guys, this isn't about that Stonehill Defender is better or anything else, its that if your board gets cleared or you don't draw Stonehill Defender you have a backup.
Why not just play Tar Creeper or Stonehill Defender?
Tol'vir Stoneshaper.
For your consideration.
That's the thing with Lone Champion being "better" in some ways; You need to somehow specifically design a deck that has elemental in order to get the taunt/divine shield. You also need to play that said elemental a turn prior to playing Tol'vir Stoneshaper, which in my opinion is low flexibility for a neutral card (Mage, Shaman, and probably Priest utilize this more easily than the rest of the class). Sometimes ya can't afford to play Tol'vir Stoneshaper right away and end up losing the synergy.
For Lone Champion the condition is much more easier to set as it simply requires you to have no board, and Mid-range, Control, or any other non-aggressive decks can satisfy the condition to enable to battlecry anyway. You have a bit more control with your own board state... So in my opinion I wouldn't want to consider Tol'vir Stoneshaper since Lone Champion is a card that is more reliable in all classes that can effectively utilize its battlecry.
Not sure if it will see any play at all in competitive meta decks, but for F2P players, it seems like a very good card.
An uninspiring minion. obviously good in a deck where you expect to have no minions and want something sortof sticky to test the board - but this guy with the effect is just good - and I don't see how he advances any type of general strategy. Works well in a bubble deck - but are we really gonna expect bubbleadin to take off?
three is a magic number - or so they say, and a very important turn. seems to me like there are much better choices available at three.
please, who is going to play this over Stonehill Defender?
stonehill have bad stats.. but it can be good in many tempo decks
Op
Meanwhile in a Tempo Rogue deck:
Turns:
1 - Fire fly
2 - Prince Keleseth
3 - Shadowstep,Lone Champion,Prince Keleseth
Rival: Concede
GG
Decent card. Might see play in some decks but Tar Creeper is better than this.
It should be called Arena Champion, it will be pretty good if you wont curve out and your opponent will.
This card could be the new Tarcreeper.. one of the best cards by now.
Wow, awesome card! I can think of several decks where this will fit in perfectly.
HELLO, HELLO, HEL- oh, there's nobody here.
