Charged Devilsaur is interesting: I expect recruit to not trigger battlecries, so when recruited it will be able to go face immediately. However, with Kathrena being the only recruiter for Hunter, it might not happen often enough to matter. Maybe a deck with N'Zoth, the Corruptor, Stitched Tracker and Carnivorous Cube would be able to generate more recruits?

Theres not enough antiaggro cards for hunter. And this game plan is absurdly optimistic.

Generic card with instant effect and another summon on death & can practically fit any hunter deck. This will see play. Possibly a lot.

Fits midrange as well not just control. Even if you just get 2-drops out of it twice you've still compensated it's cost. and the possibility of getting a higher cost minion out of it makes it very powerful

yeah, it will fit any HUnter deck that doesn't run any beast that costs less than 5-mana. Because I'm sure any Hunter deck would love to summon a 1/1 alley cat at turn 8

bc every beast below 5 mana is a 1/1...

Even if you dont get a busted minion you are still getting value statwise.

well, as was the case with Swamp King dred and look how much play that guy saw. If you're gonna run an 8-drop in midrange Hunter it's gonna have to be insane. This is only insane if you build the deck around it

The thing is though, Dred is a single giant minion and thus a very obvious target for hard removal, while this is a low statted minion with a deathrattle which punishes hard removal. The fact that its stats are divided between what it summons and herself makes it completely different in that regard. and again, it doesn't need to be insane value to be good.

Not exactly a random NPC. She's one of the main characters of the webcomic Flintlocke's Guide to Azeroth. The NPC is a tribute to that, making her "real". I'm sure this card is more a reference to the webcomic than her role in WoW, similar to Leeroy Jenkins.
