Card Clarifications
- This does not work with Fandral Staghelm as it isn't a choose one effect.
- You can choose the same option twice if you'd like.

This card is amazing. As a jade Druid player I lose when I ramp and don't find card draw
This cards means I ramp and win.
I have to agree. Druid's not really on a tight budget when it comes to mana, it just needs to make sure it's getting an opportunity to use it. These cards help make sure your mana is doing work more often, and that has a value that can only be measured by playing it and seeing the results versus other cards like it.
This card is very good. I'm not sure it'll be "meta-defining" by itself, but worst case scenario this card is like a better version of Greater Healing Potion as you're paying 4 to get 12 armor instead of restoring health. In token decks it's just going to be massive anthem effect, which i'm sure will be a popular option. I'm sure there'll be a lot of decks where it'll be either a more expensive Arcane Intellect or Shield Block (I'd argue that the +1 armor isn't reallllly worth mentioning compared to the +1 mana but I will just for completeness.
In any event I suspect we'll see 1-2 of these in essentially every flavor of Druid in the foreseeable future, which I suppose might make it meta-defining? I just don't think this is the card that breaks druid any further.
Love the direction Blizz is taking the Choose One mechanic. The fact that Fandral is becoming more and more limited each expansion is kind of strange, however— just look how he had to be changed for Malfurion the Pestilent's hero power, Plague Lord. I doubt he'll be changed for the future, but I think we'll see more cards like this that create a new and fun class identity for Druid in future expansions... things like "Choose Three" or "Choose a Discover". :)
they already did choose a discover with Raven Idol.
So it doesn't work with Fandral (apparently, at leas that's what people claim). Guess it's interesting in some sort of Token/ramp decks (i wonder if Violet teacher ever makes a comeback)
At the end of the day it's probably jsut going to be used in Jade Druid for more draw/armor/other cancer people haven't tried yet
+2 auto-include
Also tea bag the other guy and call him a noob , come on power creep .
Im glad they are starting to flex the choose mechanic; that being said, I am upset that they did this one.
This is exactly what druid needs.... more draw. Like every druid deck isnt 1st to fatigue anyway. Its not playable in any druid deck as of now.
Its only real use is draw and its to slpw for aggro and control already draws 10 cards frpm UI.
How many of those draw spells give you Armor? Druid loses Feral Spirit in April and this card fills the gap perfectly. I doubt any Druid is going to complain about a 4-cost spell that gives you a card and 6 Armor
How many of those Armor cards are played? I have NEVER seen a serious Druid player play Claw or Bite. Feral Spirit INSTANTLY saw play in Druid decks after Wrath of the Old Gods because of it's flexible use as a finisher or a pseudo heal, hence the comparison. Because you can either Draw two cards, Gain 12 Armor or Draw One Card and Gain 6 Armor, the flexibility it gives Druid players lessons the loss of Feral Spirit in April.
woooh 12 armour in one turn
So good with Fandral Staghelm
Is it though? This technically is not a Choose One card; Fandral doesn't mention anything about Choose Twice cards, only specifically "Choose One". I'm sure this card doesn't change at all with Fandral on the field, by design. Although, Blizzard is pretty inconsistent, so maybe Fandral makes all 3 modes happen.
Hearthstone has never been very strict on the wording, technically it's actually "Choose one, twice", since you can pick the same one twice
Someone please get to the bottom of this for Fandral's sake!
This is the single most burning question from this reveal.
