This is overcosted, unless there are some insane recruit cards coming up. Relying on 3 or more dudes on the board to be decent is simply too weak, Quartermaster just needs 2. Dude paladin in wild is a very tight archetype to get a slot in, with excellent cards like Stand Against Darkness (2nd copy), Justicar Trueheart, Tirion Fordring and Bonemare often being cut, I don't think this will see much play.
Not good enough in my opinion. While quartermaster + lost in a jungle is a pretty solid t6 play, playing this with jungle is overpriced. It just costs too much.
Id love this cards text to be: "Give your silver hand recruits +1/+1, Divine Shield and Taunt." Would it be too good? Pretty decent but not broken. Would also push divine shield archetype.
Even with stand against darkness... You really want to spend 10 mana to summon 5 grizzly bears which will die to almost every meta aoe? This card should cost 4 mana if you ask me. Lost in a jungle + this = 5 mana summon 2 grizzlies. Even then... Pretty weak in the world of Spreading Plague and UI. You make bunch of 3/3 using more than 2 cards and snap. Your druid opponent only used one and made almost as good board as yours.
It would be very broken actually with that 3mana card gain + for each dvn shield removed
Maybe Vinecleaver will see some play in constructed now?

i guess people who have never played in GvG never played against Quartermaster. I think this card is pretty good. If blizzard makes a OP SH circuits cards...then this card is pretty nuts. Plus the fact you can get this from ivory knight is pretty nuts too

by turn 5 its pretty easy to have 7 recruits
a board full of Ironfur Grizzlys with charge isn't that bad

People are saying this is worse than Quartermaster but I don't see how! +2/+2 and taunt instead of +2/+2... as a spell instead of a body, you can play this with 7 Recruits instead of six... can't be ruined by Dirty Rat/Deathlord... if I had a choice between the two I'd pick Level Up most times I think. What would make it less useful?
I still feel that people are underestimating the usefulness of Taunt... but hey I can run both so no need to choose
