Please Blizzard, nerf this card so i can get my 1.6k of dust.
That`s why this hero power is so good
this card is more powerful than i thought.
Pulled this guy golden today! Control warlock is back boys.
obvious pun on bloody hell and edgy threat
thats what i was expecting since the beggining
this card is just great in any type of control warlock
like for instance with Despicable Dreadlord
Is anyone else having an issue where he doesn't summon all the demons that died? No, I don't mean hexxed or sheeped demons.
Yes, I noticed too. It looks like he can summon only one copy of every demon died.
Nope It's summon all that die
but i've heard that infernal (jaraxxus token) will not be resurructed
It can summon infernals. They are still demons.
Honestly, I got this card from the prolog, and I don't think it's as good as everyone says it it.
Sure, if you manage to play this card, the payout is HUUUGE. But that's if you get a chance to play it. A bit of the demons you want to summon, such as Doomguard and Lakkari Felhound, require you to get rid of your hand, so if you get this off of Mulligan, you're in trouble.
Also, Demons need to be agressive. Odds are that you will win before A) You get the card, or B) you get enough value to play the card. And by the time you do get enough value, either your board will be full of Demons already, or your opponent is overpowering you, and the 5 armor plus Void Walkers and Felhounds won't be enough. And even if it is, what then? Your opponent is bound to have prepared for something like this, and may have a super strong buff card, hard removal, or can just go face.
Overall, I'm not saying the card itself is not bad. In a perfect world, it may just be the strongest Death Knight. But the situation has to be too specific for this card to work. But hey, he did have a great purpose for me: he got me my Uther of the Ebon Blade.
Yeah, I figured that out... unfortunately, I had already dusted him for Uther. But i'm having quite a bit of fun with Uther anyways. I was wrong, this card is actually good, but I made a mistake.
ive found that getting demons with the discard text, like doomguard from krul the unshackled can make discard demons viable in control
buckle up and enjoy the 1600 dust because this card won't be staying without a nerf soon
Thank Blizzard for the 400 dust.
This card will not save you from aggro. Other cards in the set are what's going to give you the time you need to play this card. While cards like Defile and Drain Soul are what will keep you safe until you can use hellfire and shadowflame before you're at 14hp, This is pretty much all you need along with the minor heals of mistress of mixtures and Farseer. If you can make it to 10 against aggro, then you have already won in most matches.
What Gul'zoth will do is solidify your position vs. any control deck as well as finish off midrange which haven't killed you (This is the true weakness to this deck i feel if they curve out appropriately). I'm unsure of the value in adding N'zoth variants unless it's to increase your pre-turn 10 life total by moat lurker/spirit singer umbra'ing your mistress of mixtures, but that might not leave you enough room in your deck for the efficiency of your board clears and larger minions that go in later game lock decks (mountain giant/twilight drake/medivh/alex/etc). So we will have to see what people come up with and what works..
Personally I think it goes well with Krul if you're wanting to add doomguard and lakkari in there, but otherwise, i'd say just put this demon combo in: Voidwalkers/DespicableDreadlords/Abyssal Enforcers. 6 Demons is all you need. 2 3hp taunts aren't bad if your opponent doesn't have many minions like 1-2 big minions with no spell removal left. For Krul you can have: Krul/voidwalker/felguard/lakkari Felhound/Doomguard/Despicable Dreadlord/Abyssal Enforcer. The Highlander version will require you to keep cards like lakkari and doomguard as dead cards in your hand for a bit, but it works out well if you find the perfect time to play them.
I very much enjoy the concept of this card, and can't wait to see what people come up with.
(...Do not play Bloodreaver Gul'dan with discard cards without the krul package... Quest lock will make you rez worthless 3/2 imps and doomguard/lakkari felhounds are traps set to kill off your hero card. Just don't do it xD)
Very shocked at all the downvotes o.o. I thought I gave the card a pretty good case for being good despite all the hate it got.
Half the argument to this card being bad throughout the forums (here and beyond) is that it wouldn't save you from aggro. My point on that subject was to redirect them to cards that would support Bloodreaver Gul'dan by keeping you alive in the early game like Drain Soul and Defile, so you can prep for your DK card in the late game.
Wait a minute... is that where the downvotes came from? Because the only words people read from the post was the first sentence?? xD
hero power is op Siphon Life
Holy ****! This is scary.
