lol yet another card that hunter doesn't need. The reason why Feign Death was a bad card and unplayable was because you couldn't reliably combo it with deathrattle minions because hunter has no card draw or sustainability. This is worse than feign death because it's 1 mana with a reduced effect. Tempoing out cards like this isn't the issue. The issue is that once you play a card like this, you have no cards left in your hand, and your opponent wrecks you. THE DREAM is to use this on a card like Nerubian Egg. 1 mana summon a 4 4 WOAH VALUE. Nope, in reality it's "spend 2 cards and 3 mana to summon a 4 4 and a worthless 0 2 that does nothing. Might as well run Ogre Brute. Garbage card that people who don't play hunter will think is a good card. I play more control hunter and experimental hunter than probably anyone on this site so I would know. My favorite deck is Explorer's Hat fedora hunter in wild, and that deck is one of, if not the best deck to run this card in, and it's not worth the slot. 2/10 card. Art's cute though.

well feign death was a bad card to begin with, but I used it a lot and i would consistently proc at least 2 things with it. This card is literally worthless and is yet another hunter card that plays into the weaknesses hunter has as a class. Much like Raptor Hatchling, which is still believe is THE WORST CARD THAT EVER EXISTED IN HEARTHSTONE, but people who don't play hunter think its a good card lol.

Moop547 if you think Raptor Hatchling is "THE WORST CARD THAT EVER EXISTED IN HEARTHSTONE" then you have not been paying very much attention at all. Even just looking at other 1 mana cards from the Un'Goro expansion you can find cards that are worse  for sure (i.e. Lakkari Sacrifice, Air Elemental, Iron Hide). It ain't a good card by any means but given how much trash we regularly see thrown in with these big expansions to fill packs it isn't even close to the worst we've seen.

 

raptor hatchling IS the worst card in the game. It's literally a vanilla 2 1 with deathrattle: cancel out a draw in the late game when you're in top deck mode. That's how hunter works, trust me, ive played more different hunter decks than anyone thats ever played this game lol. I have 600 wins and most of them were with decks containing stupid cards likePiranha Launcher and Explorer's Hat. Until they actually give hunters card draw, that card will always be abysmal. There are cards like Magma Rager that people think are the worst, but I would gladly put that card in any hunter deck over the raptor. It takes the weaknesses of hunter: having too many situational cards in hand and not being able to draw cards, and makes them worse! In any other class it would be an o.k. card, just o.k. I don't think I'd even consider throwing it in a fatigue warrior deck either, which is the 1 deck it would kinda make sense in lol.

Giving hunter that card is the equivelent of if they made a warrior card that cost 9 or 10 mana and it drew you 7 cards lol. Complete anti-synergy with the class, and that's why it's bad. Those other cards you mentioned are nowhere near as bad. Lakkari Sacrifice isn't even that bad of a card. People overreact because control warlock has been a broken, tier 1 deck for literally every expansion until un goro, so because the deck isn't also tier 1 or 2, the lame warlock fanboys whine saying it's "unplayable". The other 2 cards are just low power cards; Not consistently good enough for constructed. Some matchups they really shine, but just not enough of the time. Raptor Hatchling will literally lose you games because it denies you a decent draw. Yeah if you play it turn 1, and then you get the 4 3 on turn 2, it's decent, but every turn after that, it's bad and gets worse and worse. It also has no synergy with any possible hunter deck and there isn't a single matchup where it's good, including vs fatigue decks, which is where it would make the most sense.

well if there are even more good deathrattle minions for hunter, then for tempo this might be better than more expensive similar cards...

Mike Donais mentioned that there is going to be a cute puppy revealed on Monday's stream. That means we're probably going to get two cards featuring this adorable undead puppy. The cute puppy is also likely to have Deathrattle to synergize with this card.

i was looking at some stuff this card could be used on and how much value it'd get,that's what i found,it's a little rough around the edges. oh and i didn't add all deathrattles,only the ones you will be using normally.

-Kindly Grandmother 1 mana 3/2 (value of ~2 mana [nice])

-Sludge Belcher 1 mana 1/2 w/taunt (value of ~1 mana [ok])

-Fiery Bat 1 mana 1/3 of a arcane missiles  (value of ~0.25 [cuz missiles are already not that good{ye could also see it as 0.3333 but it still sucks}])

-Savannah Highmane 1 mana two 2/2s (value of ~3 mana[quite good])

-Sylvanas Windrunner 1 mana rng based mindcontrol (value of ~8 mana[amazing])

-Rat Pack 1 mana summon ~2 - 4 1/1s (value of ~1 - 3.5 mana [allright - good])

-Infested Wolf 1 mana summon ~3 3/3s (value of ~2.5 mana [above average])

-Shaky Zipgunner? 1 mana handbuff for 3/3 a single minion(value of ~1.5 mana [ok])

-Raptor Hatchling 1 mana basically do nothing unless you're an control hunter,which you aren't (value of ~0.01 mana [not good enough])

-Weasel Tunneler 1 mana meme (value of ~0.50 mana)

-Devilsaur Egg 1 mana 5/5 (value of ~4.5 mana [sick])

-Nerubian Egg 1 mana 4/4 (value of ~3.5 mana [good])

-Mad Scientist 1 mana play a random secret from your deck (value of ~1.75 mana [nice])

-Haunted Creeper 1 mana summon 2 1,1s (value of ~1 mana [allright])

-That one adapt thing 1 mana summon 2 1,1s (value of ~1 mana [allright])

-Webspinner 1 mana add a random beast to your hand (value of ~0.75 mana [mediocre])

-Clockwork Gnome add a random spare part card to your hand (value of ~0.25 mana [bad])

-Piloted Shredder summon a random 2 drop (value of ~1.25 mana [allright])

-Boombots deal 1-4 damage to a random enemy (value of ~0.25 - 3 mana [depends on yer luck])

oh and it really depends on your deck archetype and luck,for real,using it on something like Shaky Zipgunner and hitting a taunt minion makes this card way better than if it hit something like a Alleycat and stuff like that.

I would still rather run feign death.

I doubt it will be more popular than Feign Death and Terrorscale Stalker. But it's far more cute. Kindly Grandmother approves.

That's true, but Hunter is getting a lot of support for control and N'Zoth style archetypes. If This card is going to be good, this is the expansion it will be good in.
