Jade druid does not win against every other control because it never goes to fatigue, it wins because if the game goes long enough it will eventually exhaust all of your recources with the infinite stream of gigantic golems, once you cut the infinite factor out of that, it's just control versus control, whoever manages better their resources wins. You dont even have to play this guy on turn 6, it will destroy the infinite golems generation at any point in the game.
EXACTLY! This card isn't even good vs jade druid. What it does utterly destroy though is Inner Firepriest, Explore Un'Gorowarrior, and a lot of fun rogue decks. And it'll be really good vs discard warlock and evolve shaman. This card will be run though in decks like reno warlock in wild and most control warriors, aka boring control decks that are good enough that it doesn't matter if they run tech cards. This card's design is trash and super unhealthy and boring for the game.
There is no more interraction between Gadzetan and Fandral. You have no more jades and earthen scales
The problem is not Jade idol itself, it's the infinite combo you can generate end game by shuffling it back into the deck over and over with Auctioneer. This card targets exactly that. Just like Golakka Crawler, it's meant to prevent one deck to be dominant over the meta which will most likely shift to control on this expansion. Will it beat every single Jade match? Of course not. Will it make it so you don't encounter Jade once every three games? Damn sure it will.
Golakka Crawler has done a great job of stopping Pirate Warriors, hasn't it?
Tech cards don't stop decks. That makes the card broken. They just discourage play and help decks that get hard-countered stand a chance.
I Hate and Love this card in the same time... but overral... will be bad for the "Health" of the game.
i don't like it because i think the effect is not interactive and fun killer, when you build a deck, you're expecting to play that card from your deck, then, someone play a card and can burn a lot of your deck cards and maybe a whole archtype too, just because of a battlecry, i think it's just b***s**t , and no, i'm not jade druid player, in fact, i hate jade druid decks.
But there will be a lot of archtypes that will be not good anymore just because of this epic card, like secret pally in wild, otk type of decks and many others, even fun cards like Explore Un'Goro can instantly fatigue you because of this single card ! it's just not fair.
While the reason i like this card it's because of the jade counter, because everyone knows that Jade druid kill any control decks and push aggro even more.
But, once again, i think the effect of this card it's just insane, as it kill a lot of decks, and may not even be good for the "Health" of the game, so... a Jade counter would be nice, but not in that way, that's so bad for the game...

Yea, I also think that The Last Kaleidosaur is too playable.

you guys are so excited to play this against Jade Druid, but they will instantly disappear once the expansion first hits because thy know this card is comming and you and your opponent are going to have one of these on board and just sit there staring like "well, what the **** am I supposed to do now?" and once all the hype dies down a bit, the Jade Druids are just gonna shove Aya and Arcane Giants down your throat anyways. Stonehill Defender and can give them more Jade Behemoths and they may even play Lotus Agents just to get around this one card.
and if you don't draw it before turn 8, you're pretty much screwed anyway if they can get anything going.

Yeah, but if you play this on turn 6 or later, chances are you already spent one shield slam. And you wouldn't run two Skulking Geists.. I don't think. Anyways, the mere presence of this card could eliminate Jade Druid. Kreygasm
I really like that it counters Jade Druid but seriously... that card just DESTROYS so many kind of decks.
Just playing this card is an auto win against many combo decks like inner fire Priest which is one of my favourite decks.
It destroy's combo decks in general, which is what control decks need since aggro is seeing so much success. That only means the combo decks are going to have to start including alternate win conditions, which most already do anyways, so I think this card is as close to Balanced as something of this caliber can get.
Not sure I hate the problems this solves more than I hate the card itself. This is way too much for 30 card decks, I think it's a big mistake making something like this.
PS explore un'goro was bad enough, now there is an auto win for opponent... Just ruined the meta!!!!
Explore Un'Goro has never been in the meta and I doubt it ever will be
Extremely good, however, kinda strange to see since Shaman is getting more evolve cards/potentials....
