Let's say you have a discounted Obsidian Shard in your deck - does this still trigger?
 Do I play this or do I play Corpsetaker hmm? Why the FUCK was this card even made? It's just bad I see no reason why this card should have been made. Even if the Lich king has some power to go with them do you think giving up 2,3,4 drops is good? This is a another TGT and Gadgetzan
Watch the Lich king have some effect like Malchezaar that happens at the start of the game. "Negate the restrictions of all prince cards" lol that would be the only reason to use this card.
It's obviously not a spectacularly powerful card, but I think it's very reasonable to imagine running this in a Rogue deck. Today the only 4 drop that is consistently found in Miracle Rogue decks is Sherazin, Corpse Flower, and Jade Rogue only has Jade Spirit . Rogue has a ton of draw power with Gadgetzan Auctioneer, so the odds that you'll be able to play Prince Valanar after you empty your deck of 4 drops is pretty high. This could provide the little bit more healing to Rogue that it needs to be great. (Not to mention that in Miracle Rogue you might be able to put Cold Blood on this for a massive heal.)
Opposed to most of the people in this comment section, I believe this card will see some play, at least from the ones who open in in a pack. it's a pretty decent card for four mana and 4-drops can generally be replaced in the decks that need a card like this (Other mention Rogue decks, I think Warlock)
OR dust it craft Corpsetaker all you need then in your deck is a taunt and someone with life steal.
Tar Creeper and any new card that comes in with lifesteal. Better than taking out all 4 drops.
Disgustingly underpowered, Blizzard should be ashamed for printing this card. It wouldn't be played even if there was no condition that needed to be met.
So ok, those princes are all bad cards, but let's wait a bit more. I'm pretty sure Blizzard/Ben Brode knew those card would not be received well and something we don't know might be hidden here. Like Lich King: "Battlecry: if you played a prince this game, do something awesome", if not, then yeah, I don't understand this game anymore.
Maybe we can see rogue using it
This is worse than both of the others, right when I thought that wouldn't even be possible. I think this may actually be the worst Legendary in the game.
Forget the fact that this card is just bad, it's also boring as fuck as well. What pitiful design.
Rogue could potentially use this if they don't get a crazy good 4-cost card this expansion. I don't run any 4 cost cards in my best Rogue deck and getting an added taunt + healing seems pretty nice.
So... this is what i'll get from 10 pack pity timer
There seems to be a lot of legendaries this expansion and most of them are.. well... i'm not impressed. The new Legendary card pack patch makes a lot more sense to me now
So... i Guess it's official, all KFT neutral Legendaries will be Dust Prince Council, all really bad, and taking away your chance of getting actual usefull Legendary =(
Wow I made a Price Valanar card before on Hearthcards.com
Thought as tool to enable combos with a substantial downside.
Most decks would not even run a one-off 4 mana 4/4 with Lifesteal and Taunt without downside.
What the actual fuck? Why is this card even legendary? It's freaking garbage. All Princes are so damn annoyingly bad.
it should be exciting! Look at all that dust you're getting!
WOW! The three Prince cards are complete garbage! This one is the most playable for sure though, amazingly.
Paladin and Warrior love the 4-cost slot. Hunter uses Houndmaster and Infested Wolf. Druids love Swipe. Mages play Fireball. Warlocks, if they ever see play, run Kazakus, Blastcrystal Potion, and if they are zoo, Defender of Argus and Dark Iron Dwarf. In wild, there is too much synergy for this. Piloted Shredder exists, and people don't even play it as a two of in Wild. Shamans have Flamewreathed Faceless. Out of all the classes that could possibly run this, Priest is the most likely candidate.
The three Prince cards are horrible. They don't even work with one another. Overall, I feel as though they could've been something much more.
