This card is a closer. I was able to hit an opponent with 14 damage (for that wonderful bargain basement price of 1) as I fully overloaded on turn 10, then cast two Lightning blooms so I would have both the mana to cast it and more locked crystals to pump it up.

A must-craft, imo, if you are playing shaman.

5 star card. Can use it the same turn you overload, or set up a 2 turn kill. 

t2 coin 2 x lightning bloom + doomhammer + this in opponent face Kappa.

The tradable means that there's no reason to not run this in a shaman deck except maybe dungeoneer.

Does anybody know if the damage works for overload on non-existent crystals? Like, if you overload 5 on 3 mana crystals, say with Perpetual Flame, would it deal 3 damage or 5 damage?

Going right into my Blue Fire Spell Slanga deck in place of Lava Shock as it is a power creep the likes of which I’ve never seen! 

FINALLY the burn card we've needed for so long. Too bad Shaman is already on people's hate list this year.

Bonkers. Absolutely ridiculously good. Compare to the effect previously:

Lava shock - 2 cost, 2 dam, unlocks

That minion - 2 cost, 3/2, unlocks

This - 1 cost, unlocks, damage - and the baseline is 2 damage for 1 mana, with 3 damage requiring overload (1). Oh, and also cycles [possibly multiple times!]

You want to use it when heavily overloaded, this is easier to fit in and scales with how badly you're overloaded. Heck, 1 mana, 2 dam, tradeable would have been pretty standard,

Yeah, this card seems insane. 

One of the best shaman card ever printed. It's also Tradable. Ok, not 2x in every deck, but in some  heavy "overload decks..." .
