Unlike Hex, Polymorph can cast into a vast arrays of animals.
With the appearance of Snowflipper Penguin we can expect that there will be more polymorph versions outside of just sheep and boar.
These animals are all possibilities: Turtle, Black Cat, Rabbit, Pig, Bear Cub, Monkey, Penguin, Porcupine.
Or perhaps Blizzard should start selling "skins" for famous spells such as Polymorph
This card and hex both need to be nerfed hard consider how they are THE 2ND STRONGEST REMOVAL IN THE GAME.
am i the only one who thinks this piece of crap should be nerfed really hard? (like making it cost 2 or even 3 more); not only does it get rid of your stuff, it also bypasses any deathrattle or effects that sinergise with killing stuff.
It has to be changed to Polymorph: Sheep
Blizz pls!!
Hex is definitely better.
Well... Hex is TOO powerful.
The best removal in the game is mindcontrol if we ignore mana cost
it got nerfed
As a hunter I like killing mages with the sheep if I manage to keep it alive long enough xD
Just made an account to say...same! xD
There was an instance recently where I was able to double Houndmaster a Sheep (ex-Highmane...). I was mad.
"Used in 40.41% of mage decks"
I'm looking at it for use in a variation of Tides' Budget Mage from a year ago... at this point I'm deciding whether to swap out Twilight Drake for it. The Drake usually comes out for me as a 4-man 4/7 or 4/8.
Where that has more use than a Polymorph, is that a polymorph can take out a tank or other seriously annoying critter (especially crap with deathrattle) - but I have other means of killing stuff. In the drake's favor is the fact that the drake can actually do face damage and/or require the opponent to trade out 2 or more of his pieces and/or spend a round dealing with it. The polymorph takes 6 mana to kill (4 to poly, 2 for hero power), which is 2 more mana than the Drake.
I'm not sold this card is a slam-dunk in all mage decks.
yeah when you get your ragnaros or mountain giant or even a cheap forcetank max can get killed and even make you lose.
