Limiting your spells to shadow is a SEVERE limitation for Priest.
For a control priest, you're kinda right. But for zoo? Really, really not.
There's literally just one spell in the game right now that you'd want in a zoo-type of priest deck, Rally!. Everything other spell zoo might want is a Shadow spell. Raise Dead, Insight, Palm Reading, Auspicious Spirits, Psyche Split, Soul Mirror... you get the idea.
Non-shadow spells for Priest are mostly Holy spells, which have to do with healing, and some school-less spells, which are mostly removal. None of which zoo cares about in the slightest. And considering that we're very unlikely to get aggressive spells in the "holy" school, I'd bet the same will be true in next expansion.
If you're putting a bunch of spells in it, it's not really a zoo deck. Zoo decks use minion-generated effects, hence the name. What you are describing sounds like tempo -- or midrange if you include the higher-cost stuff.
I'm sorry, but that's not really true. Zoo decks are based around minion combat, not "minion generated effects". There have been plenty of spells that saw play in zoo warlock for example in the past, such as Power Overwhelming, Imp-losion, Demonfuse, etc. As long as a card helps you create and retain minion pressure, it's a potential "zoo" card, whether it's a spell or a minion. In other words, it's very hard to argue that a card like Raise Dead isn't a potential zoo card. It literally just adds two minions that you're playing in your deck anyways to your hand.
On the other hand a card like Palm Reading is not a zoo card, and it's unlikely it would see play in such a deck, though just because you included it that wouldn't automatically mean your deck is not zoo - if you got 26 zoo cards and 4 cards with a different strategy in your deck that's still a zoo deck.
Furthermore, I wasn't trying to say you should put all the listed spells in your agro priest decks, I was just listing all the ones that theoretically could make the cut depending on whether or not Blizzard releases other cards that would synergize with them. Realistically, if you were making a "zoo priest" list with the current pool of cards, You'd 100% include Raise Dead, and you might put in Soul Mirror, and you'd fill the rest out with minions. That'd be a zoo priest deck, whether you want to call it that or not. But because we haven't seen the rest of the expansion cards yet, it's too early to be making any clear conclusions, it's entirely possible priest gets a few super effective 5 cost cards that'd make up your high-end of the deck, and suddenly Auspicious Spirits makes a lot more sense than it would right now.
I think we're both picking nits here. I said zoo wouldn't run "a bunch" of spells -- not that it would never run any. Minion-focused spells, as you mention, are fine. I must have misunderstood your intent earlier.
Vatican City be like: Waiiiiitt oh yeah we are like that!
