Hero Power
Card Clarifications
- This Hero Card will swap out your current hero!
- Upon switching heroes, you will gain 5 Armor and the Battlecry will activate.
- Your Hero Power will become Build-A-Beast. It allows you to create custom minions which are combinations of two different collectible beasts.
- The collectible beasts from the Hero Power are 5 mana or below. They rates between neutral beasts and Hunter beasts are equal.
- The first card pick through the Hero Power will be a card with text. The next card will either have Keywords or be Vanilla.
- If your current Hero was Alleria, you'd still become Deathstalker Rexxar.
- You only gain 5 armor, new emotes, and the new hero power when played. You don't get a reset on life.

"The collectible beasts from the Hero Power are 5 mana or below"
Remember the old Arcane Golem?
Duskboar + Stonetusk Boar
It's always Huffer... but with one more attack.

I have hoped for awesome art of zombeast, like the Fandral Staghelm have for merged druid's minions.
To be fair, with all the possible minion combinations it would be hard to make a unique model for each, although it does suck the ''zombeast'' art is just the first minion's with some effects as opposed to an actual abomination of sorts.
Anyone know how this interacts with spell power, mirror entity, counterspell and other effects?
Blizzard said that it's new kind of card, so it's not a minion, weapon or spell. Becouse of that I'm pretty sure that it wont be afected by thouse effects.
Whos gonna craft all of these golden? I am!
I can see Deathstalker Rexxar working out in a Control Reno Hunter in Wild.
But there are currently not enough taunts and healing mechanics for this card to work in Standard.
If there aren't enough taunts, then why not make your own? Currently, in Standard, Build-A-Beast has a 64% chance of creating a zombeast with Taunt. Although this number is liable to change when new beasts are introduced.
Someone probably already said this but, stonetusk boar + vicious fledgling.
xd
Makes me sad that the Tundra Rhino Sand Worm dream won't come true with this. T_T
Nice 13 mana card.
Yeah, I didn't know it had a mana level set in terms of the range with the card pool. I understand better now. That's why I mentioned Tundra Worm not being possible.
I dunno...
On the one hand, its clearly a slow card in traditionally the fastest class. Even the value from the new hero power is slow, and I don't know how good the Zombeasts will be for the cost. The basic hunter hero power is great in the end game anyway, but the new one helps Rexxar fight for the board.
On the other hand, if hunter slows down enough, this heals, deals AoE damage, and gives possibly great long-term value.
I am torn as to whether its good or not, but I mainly play Druid, so what do I know? Sorry for the poorly organised tangent.
About the Hero power:
I'd rather spend 2 mana, discover 2 beasts, and just add them to my hand separately.
That aside: Here's my ultimate zombeast.
Edit: Oki, I didn't see this one:
Acidmaw costs 7 mana (more than 5), therefore you won't be able to create it. Maybe I would combine Dreadscale with a stealth minion like Jungle Panther though and then play Grim Patron
