Hero Power
Card Clarifications
- This Hero Card will swap out your current hero!
- Upon switching heroes, you will gain 5 Armor and the Battlecry will activate.
- Your Hero Power will become Build-A-Beast. It allows you to create custom minions which are combinations of two different collectible beasts.
- The collectible beasts from the Hero Power are 5 mana or below. They rates between neutral beasts and Hunter beasts are equal.
- The first card pick through the Hero Power will be a card with text. The next card will either have Keywords or be Vanilla.
- If your current Hero was Alleria, you'd still become Deathstalker Rexxar.
- You only gain 5 armor, new emotes, and the new hero power when played. You don't get a reset on life.

I wonder if this card will make a slower Hunter version and Swamp King Dred viable, thinking...
"Spetacu... " ... lar? hahahahaa
Imagine making a really strong 'Zombeast' with a deathrattle effect. You will get that card back with n'zoth, because it is a card with deathrattle. for example:
Infested Wolf+ Stegodon
If you get cards like these back with n'zoth it's really strong.
A combination that also pretty sick,
Knuckles+ Stonetusk Boar (not a n'zoth combo, but such a strong late game finisher)
I definitely like this card, but will it be too slow for the next meta? who knows
so.. non of your combinations is a 5 drop...
an 8 mana 5/9 deathrattle sumon 2 spiders is quite bad and a 10 mana 5/12 charge is not really worth it
Yea sorry about that misstyped 5 drop, should've have been a zombeast, already edited it, thanks :P
And yes my zombeasts weren't great, but it was about the idea of summoning those beasts back with n'zoth
Unholy Death Knight Spec
On its own it's kinda lackluster due to its cost and being limited to 1 (i assume), but it literally has everything the hunter is missing, board clear, armor and a hero power that gives you great late game minions.
if they add some more control options for hunter this will be a staple pick.
For so long we wanted to see a board clear and a heal for hunter. Now we've got it combined in one card. Not only that, it also gives hunters a form of card draw (better than warlock), also a thing hunters lack. Imo this is a push in the right direction. We can only hope for more love for control hunter, and less love for aggro in this expansion. Can't wait!
Maybe this is what will make some sort of control hunter deck viable, there are already some board clear options+secrets to play with right now, but hunter simply runs out of steam thanks to lack of card draw later on and doesn't have the best late game cards either, this can solve both of those things to some extend. We also don't know what other cards hunter is gonna get yet, so I actually feel like there's promise for this.
After just seen 5 cards from the new Expansion no one can say if this is good or not. I will give this card definitely a try. This Card combines AOE with a little bit of life, and later in the game you can create powerfull beasts if your Hand is empty.
For all those who think that this card is not good because "it doesn't fit Hunter's playstyle which is to go face with its Hero Power, and if I want to play a 6 Mana minion I'll take Savannah": think outside the box. New expansions and new cards are meant for extending an existing strategy, or better, create a new one. Hunter have ALWAYS been the aggro class because of his Hero Power. This card has the potential to change everything. You can build a slower Hunter deck that will defend itself until he has this card to play and then he'll probably win every Control and Midrange Matchup with no problems thanks to the new hero power. This is not Aggro, it's a slower and a new strategy for Hunters. Also, 6 Mana 2 aoe damage +5 Armor is no joke. Just think about Holy Nova which deals the same damage and heals only for 2, and totally doesn't give the new Hero.
Obviously we'll get to see how this card will impact the meta, but it's an huge step in the right direction. Don't EVER underextimate new strategies because they don't fit the previous ones. Just think about the Rogue Quest which was underextimated because of the requirements: that quest generated value over time, and this card is just the same thing, except for multiple 5-5s on the field in a turn. But it comes with a lot more tricks.
If the next hero card will be similiar to this one I'll be really happy.
Slow decks in Hearthstone LUL
I said slower, not slow. And think about Taunt Warrior, it's a great deck and it's far from being fast.
2 dmg aoe and 5 armor for 6 mana is ok vs aggro. new hero power outvalue any control for sure
the last 2 are impossible, you get one beast with text and one beast with keywords/vanilla , not 2 beasts with text
I'm very curious as to what would happen if we picked 2 minions with lifesteal (hopefully there will be some nice beasts with lifesteal), will it be double lifesteal effect or just work as it was one?
BTW, Giant Sand Worm and Knuckles, anyone? :D
I don't think it allows you to merge something above 10 stamina?
and even if it does then you can't play it
After posting I realized it only shows beasts of up to 5 mana.
I guess you could go with Knuckes and any high damage minion instead..
I do not think double lifesteal would be possible. Just like you cannot double up on divine shield or taunt.
