Interestingly, this was the first card ever shown in full, when Hearthstone was first announced. Other cards' art was shown briefly, but this is the first card that had the correct class, art and text on it.

I actually don't think this is a terrible card especially because of the paladin meta. I've been running this card and it has saved me lots of game especially when combo with azure drake etc. Don't underestimate it

It's still good when comboed with Flamewaker, Sorcerer's Apprentice, and Mana Wyrm against face hunter

A good card to trigger Counterspell before you use Flamstrike

if you put a spell in your deck just to fail to cast it, you do it wrong...

Mirror Image is another cheap card to trigger counterspell except it also does something when you play it normally.
