Galvadon needs to be played with Getaway Kodo to at least replay Galvadon after board clear...still doesn't help with Devolve
Might not be as bad as you think. Galvadon resists all board clears except Twisting Nether, as he will likely have either divine shield or a health buff. Also he has a high chance of being invulnerable to Hex, Polymorph or spot removal due to Liquid Membrane and/or Shrouding Mist.
That being said, you are right that Devolve is his #1 weakness, and I expect every Shaman deck will run two copies of it when the new set drops.
Just thinking out loud.. why would anyone craft this/these quest cards golden?? Maybe the golden version should decrease the requirement by 1 or something. :p
You must be new to card games, but let me tell you really quick; DO NOT ever think that making a foiled version of a card should be better than the non-foiled version.
That's just asking for a P2W game.
This quest is already going to be extremely annoying to accomplish. Imagine this... Uther! Versus, Thrall! "Greetings, Friend." "Well, Met!" Some time goes by.. you, as Uther, finally finish your quest! Galvadon with dope buffs! Thrall emotes to you "I thank you." Devolve. "By the holy light!" "The victory, is yours."
So its bad because its vulnerable to one specific card from one specific class that is only run like 30% of the time? Yeamhmsureok.
Next time, give a wide example.
Everyone knows how vulnerable minions are in the game.
Top decks shows how one sided meta can be.
So the thing is that the only chance this card has to be competitive is in cancer aggro pally deck with a lot of one drops, cheap buffs and Ben's Brode favor...In which case it gives a super finisher to a smorc deck.I can't really choose what is worse,to never see this card on ladder or to see the rise of another smorc deck.
Starting hand = 1 mana quest, 6 mana buff, 8 mana dinosize, coin
LOL?
this card looks waaaay worse than it is. It will be difficult to achieve the quest, I'll give you that, but the reward is absolutely insane and broken as hell. When i first looked at it, I was like WTF THIS IS HORRIBLE, but then i looked at what you can get from adapt. DUDE you can EASILY get a 5 5 with windfury and stealth and "untargetable". And since you're running buffs in your deck, you can just buff it once, and it's light's out! It's like Al'Akir the Windlord on steroids and for all intensive purposes, costs 0 on the turn you use him because he's stealthed the turn before. If this deck actually is good, we might actually see people teching Spellbreakers in their decks. Maybe Streetwise Investigator will actually be a half decent card now (probably not lol)
good point. Well just pick the stealth one then lol
Stealth, Windfury, 3 attack, +1 +1 is already 18 damage, which is great. 26 with Kings the following turn.I'd say its an easy OTK. I wonder if you can get duplicate adapt effects. I really hope devolve and mass dispel don't become common to deal with all of these shenanigans.
For the record, All intents and purposes*.
Theyre are minions that give you things that lwt you buff them likr that 6 mana 5 get 2 bananas. The quest it trash, the only way this would be played is if galvadon had charge.
So, this is actually the only quest you can (kind of) play around by not letting your opponent stick anything on the board.
Seems pretty hard to complete until we see a good buff for paladin.
WHAT Sneaky Priests will do with all those delicious quest rewards
lol xD
With 5 mana cost you would rarely have them in hand after triggering the quest...
Push the Button.. GALVANIZE!
Shitty legendary, shitty quest.. next thing you know they send Tirion Fordring to wild
I actually don't know why they haven't. This dude is in every freakin' pala deck, so annoying.
Ugh.. Watch this be the first legendary I get. Easily the worst quest.
