So basically Princess Huhuran sucks even more now.
basically they made princess huhuran as a filler legendary which sucks
I feel like it was a testing legendary. How powerful is that effect. How consistent is it. That whole shebang. If they made her a 5/6 same effect rare it could of been a dangerous game they play as a deathrattle could see a huge launch with the card that many people may not like. They needed to be careful before they went all out with it.
After the card dump today, and Spiritsinger Umbra's reveal, I think this card actually indirectly buffs Princess Huhuran, by allowing you to build a deck around her effect. With stuff like Kindly Grandmother and the new Devilsaur Egg, an Egg Hunter could very well be a thing now that there are 4 cards (All minions, an advantage over Feign Death) that cheat out deathrattle effects instead of just Huhuran.
Nah, still dont see deathrattle hunter's future -_-
What the? I mean princess huhuran was not really played, but seriously? Even without the vanilla stat and beast tag, this card is way better than the legendary. Triggering deathrattle with lower mana cost is really great because it can combo with deathrattle cards on the same turn.
However since the new hunter quest seems awfully good, this deathrattle theme might not be the winning hunter deck for standard.
Saurok
Ugh, and I just crafted Princess Huhuran too. 1200 dust down the drain...
Crafting cards before a new expansion is hardly a good idea.
Weasel Tunneler Hunter new meta.
Just in case someone tries to do it, I'm pretty sure that when weasel has his deathrattle triggered he will leave the board even if he hasn't been killed.
Won't work too well since as King13663 said, when his deathrattle is triggered the minion itself gets shuffle into the opponent deck so it's better off to just deal damage with it for value.
T2: Crackling Razormaw
T3: Shuffle a 4/3 for 1 into your deck and put a 3/3 into play.
Because you're one of those people who doesn't understand why people don't like Curvestone and want the game to change.
Sacrificing Tempo now to gain Tempo later has been shown to work with a ton of cards previously, Emperor Thaurissan being the one that pops in mind first, though Sylvanas Windrunner and Cairne Bloodhoof are prime examples as well. Being able to weave in a 4/3 on a turn where you have extra mana (and yes, being able to draw it with Tol'vir Warden helps tremendously with the top decks) is a huge tempo play as opposed to playing a 2/4 for 3 because of a single handbuff.
And honestly, a 4/3 for 1 is pretty ridiculous when you can play a 3/5, a 4/3, and an additonal 4/3 for 7 mana. Because reloading the board after a Flamestrike is incredibly powerful.
