nobody is playin if they are gonna play this for its stats.. it is for its effect
Its not the combo suck. Because Control Hunter is so weak you do not have either card draw and heal power of a Warrior to play Control Style. If Acidmaw in CW, that will be totally different story
I want you all to stare at this card for about 5 seconds and then imagine it saying "HAYYYYYY!!!"
control warrior gone forever.
I've got the beast in my sights!
I thought they didnt liked combo cards that much.
Blizzard doesn't like combos that end the game or are hard to interact with. This is an answer to wide boards and/or large minions. People can play around it. Also it probably won't even be that good in the coming meta :P
whirlwind and a 9/7 body are all the words you need to know
I feel like this card should cost 8... 9 mana is overkill
People who are saying '10 mana board clear' aren't taking into account the 9/7 body you get too...
*Cof Cof* Deathwing *Cof Cof*
I would argue this is better as although it is a 2 card combo and the stats are slightly weaker, it is still much more valuable to keep your hand
you'll be too dead to play this.
The capital M annoys me.
THEY FIXED IT!
The worst knock against this card is that Justicar Trueheart is rotating out when he comes in. Arguably, Justicar is the single most important card in CW and I'm not sure how well it'll recover. It's true CW hasn't really been a big player in recent months, but it's remained a solid deck.
With that being said, the obviously intended Whirlwind into King Mosh will be a legitimate and powerful play in many games I suspect, assuming the meta can support a CW style deck. There are pros and cons to this guy versus Deathwing obviously. The pros are you don't discard your hand and you don't have to kill your side of the board if just dropping a 9/7 makes sense when you're somewhat ahead. The cons are when you do want to drop a board clear, this guy isn't the guarantee that Deathwing is and he's also a 9/7 compared to a 12/12 body.
.. control warrior? :,)
Why not make it 7 mana? This way he would be much more flexible, you could combo it with Ravaging Ghoul and its not like super crazy efect anyway. Even his stats fit more 7 mana drop then 9 mana, jades will fill the board next turn and he just trade to one of them, makes no sense.
It's a Twisting Nether that also puts a minion on the board. It is a super crazy effect.
