In aggro druid I find that my opponent uses their removal before turn 5 on tokens and this goes unopposed. They can't draw removal its GG
Sounds like it requires a lot of skill
It would be more interesting if you could ramp it with innervates. Yes technically you can do it on turn 1, but then you end up with 5 mana and one card, it is similar to astral communion. Looks like a missed opportunity.
This card is totally weak to Mass Dispel. As well as any mass silence/polymorph card.
now, what happens if those tokens meet a Devolve card? Will the Druid still regain his mana?
No. The Tokens have deathrattle.
This is op
I think everyone is missing the point of this card. It's best use is as a last ditch effort, an all in play in an AGGRO druid deck. Dump your hand and play aggro, get them low, then nuke your mana for one last push. If they can't deal with a board full of 2/2s AFTER dealing with all of your aggro previously, they auto lose and will get smashed by all of the tokens, possibly with a cheap top deck spell to help with the finish. Repeat after me: innervate it out? Nope doesn't give you 2 extra trees, use the innervate to dump your other cards early. Useful for anything other than aggro Druid? Nope, look elsewhere. Good for a final push to end the game in an aggro deck? Yep, it's pretty good for that.
If they waste a clear on your other junk that you dumped before this goes off, and they are low on life, or if they just simply didn't draw into the clear, you win the game.
Furthermore, I don't think this aggro druid you speak of has the tools it needs this particular expansion. Will be a good fit in such a deck if it ever comes to fruition though.
Yeah, I have one of these and I'm using it as a last resort in my Aggro Druid deck to great success. It works really well as a curve-topper as you play it after your opponent has already used their board clear on your other minions. It also helps regain the board if you somehow fall behind. Overall, it's pretty good as it's not another win-more card in an aggro deck, but a great recovery tactic. 5-7 2/2s is just crazy steam for an aggro deck in the midgame.
Decklist here:
This card actually works with the quest reward. every single minion will become 0 cost, so mana will basically be useless except for spells, so you can get board presence trading the crystals you will rarely use.
Turn 4 Spiritsinger Umbra into turn 5 this
???
Just like Brann Bronzebeard, I doubt Umbra will last the extra turn to allow you to pull off combos like that.
That's more of a turn 9 combo.
Umbra sticking is even less chance than Brann sticking.
Mass Dispel Holy Nova = tr0llfac3.
Priest in 2017 LUL
Sidenote: this card will help priest to complete his quest if stolen.
People don't seem to realize that this card DOES NOT work with card that have the text "Gain X Mana Crystals This Turn Only."
