For control hunter if it works out, this'll be a solid minion with 2 specific card draws that can pull out things like finley, shifter or something else, for aggro this can be a good one too since you tend to run out of cards and steam, if you're struggling finishing off the enemy and top deck this you'd be in a good position in those close rush downs.

There is no reason to say that Hunter will be weak in next season... The trap hunter deck, which I got legend before MToG, will be almost intact for the year of Mammoth. The deck only needs 2-3 new good cards (looking forward a new good trap) and I am pretty sure that it will be a strong deck.
And can you guys imagine if hunter's quest got printed like "Play X traps"? It can be a INSANE deck.
Not sure about this card. It's too slow for hunter. But draws 2x1 mana minion and makes your draws better. If we see good synergy, we will see this, but for now, it's not good for hunter.
This one works actually quite well when you're close and running out of steam mate, can also work with specific minions in control hunter with things like Shifter Zerus if it becomes a more solid thing.
Uninspired. It would be ok if it was in a paladin deck since they already had a similar mechanic.... Giving the exact same mechanic to Hunter is uninspired and makes me worry about the future of this game.

Well it was pretty good in mtg, we'll see if it gets anything in Hearthstone.

But this guy has 3 more health for 1 mana, and mtg has cards like black lotus. :D
My point was that mtg cards are stronger than hearthstone cards.
But hearthstone minions tend to be stronger...
But still has 3 more health for 1 mana, and is card draw for hunter, and a 5 drop. Its also kind of an arcane intellect with 2 mana extra for a 3/5.
Well I think it WAS bad until that quest was revealed. Now it seems great
Yeah, basicly every quest hunter is going to run two copies. :D
You can play this on turn 5, draw x2 Timber Wolf next turn and Unleash the Hounds next turn. Or, you can draw x2 Secretkeeper, and play Cloaked Huntress and few secrets in the next turn.
This sounds good, but no hunter has Cloaked Huntress and bunch of secrets on turn 6. The reason why secret hunter was played is that its insane turn3, on turn 6 its way too slow. The Timber Wolf combo seems unplayable.
It's not the most amazing stated minion but I have a hunch hunter will get a strong 1 drop dino, and you can always grab your alley cat to make room for your bigger minions. Hunter also does not have many turn 5 options.
