The only golden legendary I ever drew was Neptulon. The golden murlocs he created were, indeed, wonderful!
Megafin
This looks completely overpowered.
So are the other quests.
First card I'm crafting. Whether it's good or not, Im playing UTM till it rotates out in a couple of years.
I'm crafting a golden Unite the Murlocs as soon as it's confirmed we get a golden Megafin and a hand full of golden Murlocs from his battlecry. So sick.
Spirit Echo says "Hello" c:
It's not needed, Megafin just outright wins you the game.
Can you get Megafin from Megafin ? That would be so cool XD .
no
WARNING : importan comment for importan murloc comment about this quest
Call in the Finishers, makes this quest a lot faster, like you can literally trigger it on turn 4 with a coin and by doing this:
Unite the Murlocs
Murloc Tidehunter
The Coin
Call in the Finishers
Call in the Finishers
(assuming your opponent has a board or killed 3 of your murlocs before turn 4)
You are absolutely right, in fact those 3 cards and the Quest itself (total of 4 cards) are technically all you even need to make the Quest work. I actually just theorycrafted a deck with this "Quest Package" added onto it for extra endgame resources. :P
Seems like my murloc shaman deck might continue living...
Play Megafin, use Spirit Echo on Megafin, play Megafin again. Or Youthful Brewmaster your Megafin and play him again. This is gonna be fun.
Shaman: Master of the ele.... Murlocs
Granted that it was half-viable before, this should bust the Murlaman wide open. Logically, if you have 100% murlocs in your deck, you should have this by turn 8 at the very latest, sacrificing your first turn, which doesn't matter since these first murlocs are going to die anyway. But then, you effectively get divine favor (At max value, no less), with synergy practically guaranteed. And, just as a bonus, an 8/8 body. All of this assumes no Murloc Tidehunter or Call in the Finishers, or even Primalfin Lookout.
Now, we are losing Murloc Tinyfin for that early synergy, and we can't forget about the tragic loss of Everyfin is Awesome, but even then, it looks promising. I've personally been playing wild Murlocadin (Not anyfin OTK, legit full murlocs), and Wild Murlaman on occasion, and I have to say: In wild? This card, as well as the other Murlocs we've seen, seem set to make Murlocs a force to be truly reckoned with, especially since I'll still have my everyfin waiting for me there. Suffice to say, as a Murloc player, I for one welcome our potential new overlords.
Of course, mandatory disclaimer that I have no idea what the meta will look like, and it's entirely possible that it will turn out to be extremely unfriendly to our fine finned friends, so I guess I can just simply say 'Who knows?'
As much as I liked your analysis, I still believe it's a little optimistic to think you'll survive until turn 8. Not only the game is too fast, you are spending a turn for the Quest, you are playing marginally sub par cards like random Murlocs. Really hope to see someone make it work though, should be a cool deck.
Yeah, I think this card is going to be fun but it'll be so much better in Wild.
