 Does this have a precendence over Mana Bind? Pretty sure I played the Mana Bind first but it was still the Counterspell that triggered.

Yeah, I guess this triggers before the spell takes effect while Mana Bind is after.

Why the hell they've buffed this card? It was already disgustingly OP but now i can't even get armor with my Arcane Artificer. I wanna clear board with Wild Pyromancer? Nope, you can't now. I wonder if Team 5 is trying pushing face decks...

Turn 1 Kabal Lackey -> Counterspell can counter class quests, not an easy combo to pull off; at best has a 50/50 chance due to needing to go first, and they could always use the coin to trigger the trap... but it is something at least :S

A more reliable use is against the 5 mana quest reward spells Crystal Core & Time Warp

And Nether Portal. Kappa

Only card with a unique keyword in the game iirc.

when i get this card in arena it just wrecks people. especially late game when played with a card like Silver Hand Knight that gives you board presence. they ALWAYS think it's Mirror Entity.  They counter it by playing removal + a crappy minion and just lose.

Honest card description:

Secret: When your opponent use a spare part or a coin, Counter it.

3 mana to waste an opponent's turn and discard their aoe is awesome. Counterspell + Sorry button combo makes it even better.

Unfortunately sorry button is no more, but wow button is just as annoying if not more.

This can be so powerful in tempo Mage decks because everyone would expect the secrets to be either Duplicate or Mirror Entity.

But that's the entire point of using a 3-Mana counter. Your opponent should be punished and not gratulated by just wasting a card and getting another shot at it for free.
