Any statistics of how many dragons you need for this guy to be playable?
When will his expected draw value be closer to 2 cards than 1?
because scripts
I was expecting this card to be quite bad, and wasn't going to use it in my dragon priest, but because I opened it in a pack I gave it a shot.
Wow! Much better than I expected. I play around 10-11 dragons and I find this card to be really useful. Usually only gets 1-3 draws but that's perfectly fine with me. The fact that it has taunt gives it nice standalone utility while also allowing you to dig deeper for answers in your deck.
Tried the card out for the first time just now in Dragon Priest... drew 2 dragons and another card. Like holy crap... 4/5 taunt and draw 3 in that case. That's like 8 or 9 mana worth of value.
Wrathion draws you 1 card atleast. It's like a turn 6 Azure Drake with a taunt and 4/5 stats. I can see it being played even outside of Dragon Decks.
I think people would rather pick the curator over wrathion then.
I know you're joking, but I decided to check if there were enough dragons to actually do this deck. There are 11 neutral non-legendary dragons, 11 legendary dragons, and four class-specific dragons (two for priest, and one for mage and paladin). So yes, there are more than enough dragons for every class to play a Wrathion Suicide Deck.
(Rotation will lose us five neutral non-legendaries, all but Draconid Operative for class dragons, and three legendaries. So if we don't see new dragons in the next set, the best you could manage would be a Priest Wrathion Suicide deck that would still be seven dragons short.)
I actually did it just now lol, conceded after, but it was pretty funny how I lost all my cards xD
Tried a deck like that but wrathion only drew cards until I milled one and it was a dragon so I don't know what's wrong.
Run druid deck with all dragons and 2 innervates. Go second, coin, innervate, innervate, Wrathion, draw 30 cards, win game.
Why is he not considered as a dragon?

How many kids does Deathwing have!?!
So far the only ones we know of in WoW lore is Wrathion and Ebonhorn
Onyxia and Nefarian are it. Deathwing is his grandfather, ony and nef are aunt/uncle.
Deathwing has several mates, and as such probably has hundreds or even thousands of offspring; with Wrathion and Ebonhorn being the most distinguished of the lot. Sinestra however is his prime consort who gave birth to Onyxia and Nefarion - his greatest creations, after Ultraxxion of course. :P
