You have a good point that mage has more better spells to combine with, but you could only 1 copy of it each just like renolock. perhaps it is slightly better than cho'gall, but a lot more play, i'm not so sure. 

you can just jam 0 mana 8/8 and play flamestrike. seems too slow

given that it's in a "reno deck" archetype, I don't think a 1 turn kill is going to be too feasible. A very strong card though, but I like it!

Really glad to see Blizzard is adding more support for the Highlander archetype. Also note that running Inkmaster in conjunction with Kazakus creates the possibility of a massive Turn 7 play: an abnormally strong 10 Mana Spell in addition to a 5/5 body. Even playing the card in conjunction with a Flamestrike or Blizzard is potentially game-winning. Straightforward and very powerful card.

Kazakuz 's Potion and this card working as a Spell Ramp for something dumb like Kabal Courier Mind Control aside. This card will mostly feel like either a high roll Firelands Portal (Burn Spell/AoE  + Minion Development or with Firelands Portal itself), or like Ancient of Lore ( Cabalist's Tome, Arcane Intellect). Ranging from situationally good to broken should be enough to ensure it being played on 100% of the Highlander Mage lists. Plus I bet that Golden Version has some SICK animations going on.

After LOE, HS has been more proactive in the lore of WoW. Like the introduction of Sir Finley Mrrgglton paved the way for his introduction in Legion. I will not be surprised if these "no names" suddenly become an NPC in future WoW expansions.

Not bad but not as great as you think. This is terrible against aggro, because it's 7 mana, you can't make a power play. This is good against midrange decks, if you can find a great flamestrike solution and this combo, probably you'll win the game. This is good against control matchups. You can make game changer moment for this card.

That's not necessarily true. we can value the 5-5 conservatively at 4.5 mana.  Combo that with a spell that with a spell like firelands portal / flamestrike / blizzard and you are getting 10-11 mana value, board presence, and a clear for very cheap. This could be fantastic against aggro, even if you are just playing a 3-5 mana spell with it. It's a HUGE tempo swing.

Seems unplayable to me. Against control decks, what we want is to out resource the opponent and not so much about the if tempo. card seems similar to cho'gall and menagerie warden. The card however is better than boogey monster.

why would u put pyroblast in your deck just for that one card. Garrosh will just say:"stop tickling me" and just tanks up and pass by time u draw into those 2 cards.
