Why wouldn't you just say Hellfire? Because that's what it is, not Excavated Evil at all.

Actually this is more like Hellfire than Excavated Evil since it does damage to all characters and not all minions.

Excavated evil only hits minions, is a priest spell, and puts the card in your opponents deck.

This card seems pretty terrible in constructed. By turn 7, against aggressive decks,  you have either recently stabilized and are desperatly looking for heals and taunts or you are dead.  Since a 3 damage AoE is basically only useful against said aggressive decks I think this card is pretty bad, at most it will be played in renolock. As for arena, this will probably knock warlock one or two tiers up.

DANG, Handlock just got a buff. A 7 mana minion with a 6 mana body that gives you a Hellfire effect for 1 mana? Some people might argue the card is too slow, but Handlock is supposed to drag out the game to the point where cards like this can be played to full effectiveness. I'm not sure wether or not I'd want to draft more than one copy, so maybe it's best suited for Renolock, but either way, I vote: Very Good!
