Hopefully, Shaman will be more or less butchered in this expansion. They don't need any more tools to dominate the meta. Their minions are in a separate tier from the rest of the game, with the Trogg, Golem, Faceless, Thing from below, Thunder bluff, Fire Elemental etc.
tentacles for arms value
Only one time.
I think This + Fool's Bane can be great in Control Warrior since playing Upgrade! is not very good in that because can be a dead card.
Kinda reminds me of Ravaging Ghoul and Whirlwind. Now we just need a minion with Execute.
We DO NOT need warrior to have more than 2 executes in a deck...that would be insane.
RIP Captain Greenskin
I would like you tell me honestly. When have you ever seen captaing greenskin played? Not dissing him, but he never was that popular.
stats, mana and its a legendary. For something to play for rogue not allot of people have the card to test it out.
Looking forward to 16 Face Damage from Gorehowl. Fun and interactive.
Its way more interactive than a lot of other shit in the game, because its NOT 16 face damage, its 8 damage twice, which makes a huge difference, because its really vulnerable to taunt, and this expansion seems to have a lot more taunt minions being added anyways.
3 mana 3/3 battlecry: transform Gorehowl into Facehowl
SMOrc POWER!
Buffs pirate decks
i was waiting for a card like this to use in my pirate warrior, also the 3 mana slot is perfect. But the fact that buff applies to the card instead of equipped weapon makes this card basicaly unplayable. It is very significant difference. Gaining tempo by securing the board with your weapon is vital and cannot be sacrificed without a huge drawback. Also this kind of card should have "pirate" tag at least.
I mean i totaly don't get it, the Bloodsail Cultist is by far superior card to this *****. it has better stats with premium distribution (3/4 instead of 4/3 or even this card's 3/3), it affects the weapon which is in play, perfectly following N'zoth First Mate with a coin, or even Fiery War Axe, AND it has "pirate" tag.
To make this card even worth considering you should make the buff more significant and worth the tempo loss (by saving your weapon for later). Something like +2/+2 and even then i have a doubts it will see some play.
Seems like a dead card to me.
This is much easier to guarantee a buff on, unlike Bloodsail Cultist. You don't have to play the weapon beforehand or have any other requirements of having a pirate on board (the pirate requirement alone makes it not really viable in most decks).
With this you can guarantee a 8-2 Gorehowl, or a 4-5 Fool's Bane, both of which you'd be playing well after turn three when you drop this card. Even a Fiery War Axe is 4-3 for two mana is ridiculous, and running two happens in most decks. Coining out this on turn two to play a 4-3 weapon next turn is even worth is in some cases.
Even though it's of curve, this card made Fiery War Axe even scarier as a turn 3/4 play as a 4/3 weapon. Besides the obvious Gore and Reaper. I guess Upgrade! is something to consider as well.
Lucky we already have counter cards if it ramps out of control I guess.
hell ... gorehowl 8/2 here i come
