This card doesn't seem so good right now, the only actual deck that can run it, that I can think of, is Control Warrior. First of all it's a good "your-end brawl piece" - you play it, you hero power then Brawl then hero power again (though I'm not sure since it says after) and it might stay alive for some more. That might become more important as Justicar Trueheart rotates out, even though it might seem that this guy becomes less valueable at that point, I'd guess that he becomes even more important, cause you will struggle to get your insane armor numbers. If there are some other heropower related things in this expansion (or in later ones) it might become really good (for example "whenever you use your hero power draw a card" or "whenever you use your hero power add +1/+1 to your random minion" or "whenever you use your hero power reduce cost of random spell in your hand by (1)" - something of that sort, not Frost Giant style).

Not talking of stupid combos you might try, like Poisoned Blade or Wilfred Fizzlebang since those will likely just stay gimicky decks.

well my thought for this card is in a secret hunter/cheap burn deck the low cost burn spells into mid game cloaked with this on the field.2 to the face, secret free, 2 again, and again

This card could be fun in adventures that give you a custom hero power, possibly...?

I don't understand the hate on this card, yes it isn't meta defining but it had normal stats for a 3 cost minion and an effect that occasionally reaps huge benefits (especially in hunter, warrior and mage)

People hate this card because it's uninteresting, weak, the cards this synergies with (TgT) are generally also underwhelming are rotating out soon,  and worst of all it's a waste of a legendary slot that could be used to make something interesting.

There is pretty much no way you will get to use your hero power more then twice when you play this guy, so why not just play garrisson commander? It has no dumb condition for you to activate its ability and its easier to combo because it costs less. I give this the Hemet/Majordomo/Boogiemonster seal of disapproval.

Your hero power costs 2, so if you play this turn 3, you cant get value until turn 5-7 for most decks, you play it turn 5 it will easily be dead by turn 6... terrible card imo.
