At first I thought it wouldn't make the cut in miracle decklists, but we've told me otherwise, which means it gonna be really fuckin' good. Also, flavorful, was to be expected, and will be fun to get off Burgle and the likes. I'm looking forward to it entering the card pool!
Wow a second prep(sorta), I'd still say tomb pillager is better because it has a minion slapped on it as well. Probably really good, don't think it's op though
Tomb Pillager is getting cycled out.Edit: Well I goofed up. I know it's a loe card, but I guess I remembered the order of release wrong it. As a Rogue main, I am happy.
Edit 2: Wait, I'm right, why am I getting downvoted?
LoE card, so it will stay for a while
And ye the coin = tempo, cheap spell = everything rogue wants
Loe was released December 2015. expansions from 2016-2017 will be playable in standard
When the first expansion of 2017 is released, yes. the current rotation is 2015+2016. MSG will be released in 2016, LoE won't be cycled out.
Me: how many coins do you nee-
Rouge: ALL OF THEM
This card is seriously good. So f***ing happy right now. All those whoe are saying that this is bad have never played rogue.
This takes up a card slot.....
That's very good for Miracle style
Ok thanks captain obvious (no offense)
Would you want to take a slot of you deck to put in a The Coin ? Tomb Pillager is a 4 mana 5/4 that gives you a The Coin, that's amazing value!
Imagine that, Gadgetzan Auctioneer + 2 Coins = draw 2 cards, gain 2 mana. It's amazing! But you replace 2 card slots in your deck with nothing. Is that worth the price? Because on itself it doesn't do much, maybe coin out a minion earlygame.
The counterfeit coin can work in conjunction with tomb pillager. Coin tomb pillager into coin drake, for example.
Strictly worse than Innervate?
That is true, but Rogue also really loves the Coin for all their combo shenanigans. I'll be surprised if this card isn't good enough.
You literally just quoted Amaz.... how many times will that happen?
If my calculations are correct, there is only a 0.43% chance of drawing the combo in your opening hand plus first turn if you go first, but a 11.4% chance if you go second. This assumes you have Edwin and two Counterfeit Coins in your deck and only care about maximizing the chance to draw the combo when you mulligan.
