This card is so badly designed it makes me angry everytime I think about it. It wants you to TRADE YOUR TAUNT MINIONS into the opponent's, the one thing you dont want to do, EVER.
The whole point of taunt as a mechanic is to force your opponent to trade THEIR minions into YOURS, so you dont have to!
So the legendary thats supposed to support taunts COMPLETELY misses the point of why taunt minions are played in the first place, easily one of the most failed designs in HS history.
Hey, doesn't this make infinite amount of Khartut Defenders and Bone Wraiths? If "loss of taunt" from this guy is treated as an enchantment (which is likely) and if minions resummoned by him are generic copies (which is usually the case with cards that summon copies of minions that have died, like Carnivorous Cube, Grave Rune, Mindflayer Kaahrj, etc) and not exact copy (those usually rely on cards staying in play to be copied, like Faceless Manipulator and Ixlid, Fungal Lord), then it should go like this:
Khartut Defender dies, one copy is summoned without reborn but with taunt, the other is summoned without taunt but with reborn. The copy without reborn dies and summons another without taunt, but with reborn. 2 Copies with reborn die and summon 2 copies with taunt but without reborn. Then these 2 copies without reborn but with taunt die and summon 2 copies with reborn but without taunt.
Probably won't happen that often but if you will randomly get Houndmaster Shaw or soon to be unnerfed Warsong Commander, then watch out!
This would only be viable in wild since khartut is rotating. In wild it would work this way but people have way more flexible removal options for plaguemaw. It will certainly be fun to play around with however.
Imagine clown druid mirror, both played corrupted clown fully buffed on board.. then you trade one and drop this..
