Can someone tell me why my Operative doesnt work? I played it nothing happen, and my opponent get to cast secret from hand and secret that was being drawn afterward. Am I being mistaken about how it should work?
Just when I was thinking secret rogue would be a viable deck... guess its back to hitting face again and again with a weapon until I win on turn 7.
Rogue is losing Self Sharpening sword so it's a bit tougher but not impossible
Wait what? Self sharpening sword is still in rotation, its a year of the phoenix card. Nitro-boost poison is the one going out ( still playable but corrupting a 2 mana card for aggro rogue a little tough).
This card likely tells us that Blizzard decided not to obliterate Secret Mage, despite having been a dominating, metastatic force in the wild metagame for so long and not showing any healthy signs after all. Instead, they decided to fight the class-specific and metastatic tumour with a neutral, oppressive tumour that everyone can deploy.
This is probably the strongest tech card they've ever released. It lets you know exactly which secrets they have in play, while stealing a potentially ridiculous amount of value--for example if the opponent has a Rigged Faire Game and Counterspell out and you play this, it steals 6 mana and 2 draws worth of value from the opponent, and you still get a decently statted body to keep up tempo. It also has hilarious interaction with Freezing Trap, as it can attack to bounce itself back to your hand.
Bad Luck Albatross is as strong as that one for a tech card, especially now that gets back to 3 mana.
I feel like both of those were made for wild.
At 3 mana, yeah, probably. At 4, not so much.
Even Secret Hunter and I'm getting nervous.
Consider this in odd Warrior in Wild, instead of Chief Inspector.
This is the best anti secret card ever.
I can't wait to play this and Chief Inspector on the same turn in Wild
"Look at me, I'm the Secret Mage now."
gonna run two of those in my singleton deck in wild just to fuck up secret mage :P
first new card im excited about
Probably won't see much play cause its really specific, but it looks like they are trying to push secrets up (in pally for instance) and the body is fine so we'll see.
This will be played 2x in Wild until Secret Mage is kicked out of the Meta.
Yep, that's true.
