Dont forget this can be discounted with 4 mana 4/4 dude, who also made it into the core set. An 8/8 minion, that if you cheat it onto the board somehow has "1 mana: get charge" and if it survives it has "1 mana: get windfury" on the following turns is just stupid.

Oh and it also has rush as a bonus, so it can kill taunts before it goes face.

Calling it now First Core set card to get Nerfed either up to 9 mana or stat reduction as it is stupidly good its better than the 8 mana spell that gives your hero 8 attack that turn as it also gives you a rush body for minion if needed and a major threat that needs removing asap or else its GG.

Do any dh decks that are teir 1 use 8 drops right now?

Inner Demon which is an 8 mana spell that gives your hero 8 attack that turn does see play not all too often mind you and I've seen all their 8/9 drops in play over the last few months.

Although I agree in the current meta it isn't common to see a mid/late game DH but thats more an issue with early game rush which is going to be somewhat countered with the new core set reintroducing Explosive sheep and some othercards.

I could be wrong but it's basically a way better Ragnaros and unlike rag its not limited to 1 copy, has rush, and can attack on its own. Time will tell I guess.

Calling on a nerf to only target a minion, because the swings from this RNG based card could be huge. Also shouldn't DH be bad at clearing big minions? sure it's got a downside but with alot of healing already it doesn't balance this out.

So you Rush this guy into that pesky Taunt minion, then hero power and smack face, sending a further 8 damage into the enemy winning the game. Seems fair.
