I'm laughing at the ones who thought this was bad and underestimated the potential of this + Nourish / Lightning Bloom. This card won games incredibly "lost". It'll be disgusting on ladder lol.
In standart there is no way to play a single card after this the same turn that generates mana but in wild it will be super broken because there are ways to get 1 mana after you play this card
What a card. Screw the game up royally for fun and games.
Oh also enables you to burst out some Lightning Blooms and Survival of the Fittests on the next turn.
Interestingly, this cannot be used to accelerate a clown druid deck, because the clowns can no longer be corrupted. All corrupt cards are useless with this.
you just need to discover a 2mana card. druid can do that easy
Let's go to another cancer season on Wild.
Big druid is not cancer in Wild. Secret mage is cancer.
Blackwater Pirate -> Innervate -> Celestial Alignment -> Twig of the World Tree -> Sphere of Sapience
Far better is just play the card and spam the board with giants they are all 0 mana
Primordial Protector could be a way to tutor it. Sadly you wont be able to play higher cost spells if you want it consitant, and it would summon a 1 drop after Celestial Alignment. But maybe worth in some sort of combo deck
Hard counters corrupt cards if they don't have a way to discount or generate. Can't corrupt Tickatus or Clowns if every card costs one.
Step 1: Build a high roll big deck
Step 2: ramp this turn 2
Step 3: profit (die)
I don't think so buddy. The profit is so good that it really doesn't matters if you are at 3 health. You saw the streams yesterday? The interaction with this card + Nourish + Malygos is BROKEN (and quite uninteractive). The deck was unbeatable. Only fast paced agro will win against this, as always. But even if that's the case, if things align properly, even agro won't be able to win against this. It's broken at that level.
Ok, what if you play Barrens Trapper before this. Then all your deathrattle cards should cost 0.
I mean, you can just play Barrens Trapper after this as well. On 7 mana (or earlier if you got an Innervate or two in your hand) you play Celestial Alignment, and then you play Barrens Trapper the turn after, when you're on 1 mana, discounting all your deathrattles to 0 so you can play them immediately.
I doubt that the best deck with Celestial Alignment in it will be a deathrattle deck in all honesty, but that's besides the point.
Innervate would cost (1) after playing Celestial Alignment...
Yeah but I think you would not need to run deathrattle deck. If this combo works and you drop 2 Scrapyard Colossus and maybe Greybough what is your opponent gonna do with one card next turn.
... Yes, obviously Innervate would cost 1. When did I imply otherwise? I clearly said you can play Celestial Alignment earlier than on 7 mana if you got an Innervate or two in hand. Obviously that implies you use the innervate to get the extra mana crystal(s) on turn 6 or 5 to play Celestial Alignment earlier.
It'd definitely be a fun deck to try MatyL! Maybe you run a N'Zoth, God of the Deep package with Scrapyard Colossus as your Mech and a few other deathrattles with a tribe. Realistically I think that might be too "win-more", if you're playing 1 mana Scrapyard Colossuses, you've probably already won, and if you haven't drawn Celestial Alignment or have drawn it but haven't drawn any deathrattles, you really don't want "vanilla" 3 mana 2/4s in your deck. But like I said, definitely a fun deck at the very least.
Like if this combo works, it should also work with infinite SN1P-SN4P in wild :D. Also there is 2 mana Mechwarper
A cool thing to note, is that this is most likely to be run in a ramp deck, and it allows your excess ramp to still hold value after you play this. Exciting to see if this will be good enough, the thing is druid is losing big threats like ysera, so we'll have to see if there is enough big stuff worthy to play with it
