Wow I can just imagine those control matchups where you have a stupid amount of armour to play with
This is pretty crazy card - whether it's amazing or average I'm really not sure lol
Spend 5 mana, deal 12 damage to 1 - 4 minions. Take X amount of damage. Pretty good card.
nice i can kill deathwing with 4 hit :D
also deathwing kill you in 3 hit :D
Isn't this weapon best against the classes that swarm the board, which warrior already dominates (Aggro Shaman, Zoo Warlock)?
Not necessarily; you can use this weapon to kill anything with 12 toughness (provided you don't kill yourself on said minion, of course). You can easily attack a 2/3, a 3/2, and a 4/5 and kill all of them in one turn with this, after taking 13 damage of course.
Which, considering how much armor a Warrior can get, isn't that much.
Warrior is the number 1 arena class right now.
i love how they are now looking at increasing the number of cards with the Giant Sand Worm effect, this could be the end of aggro, if more cards or minions has this
This is pretty crazy as a strange board clear
also this weapon buff malkorok... yeah, warrior need a buff because is the weakest class at the moment.
Now i'm waiting for the 3 mana 6/6 overload 2 for shamans because they need it...
Because 3 attack allows for much more minions to be killed than 2, and because warrior is a much more solid hero in term of hp/healing than shaman. :)
And some cards in warrior can buff the weapon greatly, shaman doesn't have that.
This is quite possibly the coolest weapon idea I've ever seen. I'm surprised I haven't seen a card like this on Hearthcards or the Fan Creations area before (it probably exists and I'm not looking close enough).
It's nice to see Blizzard experimenting with cool, new mechanics. Even if it ends up not being that good, this definitely makes up for getting Cursed Blade and Tentacles for Arms.
lololol face hits self :SMOrc:
This might be the best card of this release. I'm thinking arena, pirate decks and control.
This card will let you set up for those perfect weapon upgrade combos, such that if you have to wait an extra turn you can catch up on board.
Ok so let me get this straight... Say a C'thun warrior stacks up a healthy 40+ armor, pops this baby out late game and just wrecks the board each turn, with nearly no consequence? Sounds fair!
Fool's Bane is Arena Warrior's Gain! Make those UNKNOWN enemies tremble in fear!
