Plot twist! He's not very good
Plot twist, he's my favorite card.
I have a golden Nozdormu that I crafted. So I feel you.
Plot twist!
I dont get the reference about the green beam, someone can tell me what is funny?
It's a nod to the strat for the phases of the fight in WoW : http://wow.gamepedia.com/Netherspite
Is there a way to find who voice acted what cards?
She sounds remarkably like Tara Strong, best know for her role as Bubbles, in the Powerpuff Girls and Harley Quin from The Batman series.
That flavor text is glorious! xD
i think 1/3 for 2 mana is a nice body with a very good effect...1 mana would be broken and Epic probably.
cant wait to addd this to my dragon priest deck
This can be powerful inew certain decks. It lacks power and dies easily but there are mostly powerful dragons. So this card will find its way into a dragon control deck
Can they please change/fix the art??!
The face of this historian is hideous. I might just not play it because of how much I don't like looking at it lol.
This is the two drop my dragon mage has always wanted. Maybe i'll finally be able to take it past rank 4.
Yea, I've been messing around with Dragon Warlock and I think I could find a nice home for this guy.
I kinda like the thought of this in a dragon warlock. It's kind of an out-dated deck archetype, but Netherspite Historian seems like a great early alternative to Life Tap, particularly if you're on the coin and can only tap once anyhow.
No, it does a little. For trigger consistency, I know there are times I've had Twilight Whelp or Twilight Guardian without a dragon to trigger it. This gets me that second dragon, which isn't huge but no doubt can be useful. Additionally, it can add curve consistency by taking a mid drop like a Twilight Drake or Azure Drake when you've got a hand of spells and lategame cards.
I'm just happy its neutral to give other dragon themed classes an early drop.
The card is ok. It's not the best card in the expansion but we may see it in dragon deck... There are still unreleased cards, so we should wait.
Blackrock Mountain will go out of standard next year. Blizzard need to fill the empty spaces.... =D
WHY!? Holy shit I was already sick of the "holding a dragon" mechanic and dragon decks since they added the BS power creeps in TgT like wyrmrest agent and twilight guardian. It's the most boring mechanic in hearthstone. There's no way for your opponent to play around it and all of the dragon synergy cards are overplayed, and have very boring text on them. It's literally like playing a deck that uses vanilla minions but have +1 +1 the whole game for no reason whatsoever. There are very very little consequences for playing dragon decks now. The cards they use are BARELY less powerful than cards you'd find in any other deck. Instead of putting this boring, and overplayed mechanic to rest, they add more and more to it every expansion. I'm surprised they didn't just put mech mage into the standard set at this point.
