What you want?
"I want to not be powercreeped by a Neutral card. Sparring Partner is fine because only Warriors can build a deck with it, but why did you have to make this Neutral? Why Blizzard?"
"Power creep is a process that sometimes occurs in games where new content (in this case cards) slowly outstrip the power of previous alternatives. This leads to players abandoning previous options in favour of the latest and more powerful alternatives, resulting in an inevitable increase in power throughout the game. " - sorce: hearthstone.gamepedia.com
Frostwolf Grunt was no one's "previous option" to abandon, and cleary not for this card.
Sure. Try to build Bolster Warrior I guess. You may be have a deck of C'Thun stated minions and hit Bolster consistently. Prolly still not worth it. Taunt is sometimes good, sometimes a meaningless keyword then you just have a basically solid vanilla stated gold shire footman, pompous thespian and fierce monkey. Warriors 4-drop taunt is better then a vanilla stated minion. Wellllll...prolly not gold shire footman. I guess the deck is starting to look on the verge of playable. I think Protect the King is a bad card in almost all situations (situations where your opponent isn't winning hard enough to have 3/4+ minions lol) but maybe you run one of those for the possible big combo.
It's nice that Blizzard is releasing minions with stats like this. The previous Taunt minions had too much health.
Just another filler card thats all. Its fine.
Next card... 4/3 Taunt, Wilder Grizzlie for 3 mana.
5/4 we got - 4 mana and 5 mana versions
6/5 for 6 mana.
So now we need 7/6 8/7 9/8 and 10/9 for 7 8 9 and 10 mana.
Great cards will come.
Yeah yeah, Power creep on Frostwolf Grunt because no one uses the card etc. Just getting that out of the way.
In Arena this will be a pretty decent card, as sure, it only has 2 health, but sometimes your opponent will have to attack with a 3-health minion. Constructed? Nah.
Boring and Unoriginal.
This seems to be decent against heavy aggro, but it is just not really all that impactful with so little Health. It can kill an unbuffed Tunnel Trogg or Mana Wyrm and still survive, which is something, but it just dies for nothing to many other two drops. The card is decent in Arena, but it just seems too bad for constructed. Maybe will see play in aggressive decks that try to out pace other aggressive decks, but that seems like a stretch. We will have to see. :3
Its certainly not bad. But it surely isn't too special either.
Grunts demand Affirmative action.
It's an okay card.
Alas, poor Tronnik, I knew him, Horatio;
A fellow of infinite taunt, of most excellent stalling.
A better card than I, surely.
Blizzard must have really run out of ideas.
"To hello, or not to hello - that is the question."
Poor Annoy-o-tron! Someone finally got sick of him.
