do not use this with reno
It obeys deck building rules, says so in the forum post announcing this card
Say what you want about them, but I personally would happily play any of those if it didn't take up cardslots in my deck.
It's not about playing these cards or not. It's about the card draw.
You don't want to draw a random legandary when you need to draw that Brawl to deal with your opponent's board.
I get the feeling you thought Dr. Boom was terrible when he was announced.
It's not like it really changes the odds that much. The difference between 2/30 and 2/35 is 1%. Meanwhile, for the cost of 1 card slot, you get probably 2 actual late-game threats, 3 junk legends, and a reasonable 5/6 for 5. This probably lets you run one or two more removal cards or board clears in your deck, and 3/35 > 2/30.
Did I touch a nerve? Because it looks like I've touched a nerve.
Not going to comment on the other one after you got downvoted to the point of not being able to show your face?
you might be drawing lore walker cho instead of a board clear though when in a dire situation...
This card is really not that great, it will only see play in constructed due to its fun factor
A fun card. I think that all of the legendaries in this adventure so far are well suited to improving the 30 legendary deck. This is a Pit Fighter that has a chance of giving you an extra Lightbane, Nat the Darkfisher, Dreadscale, or Elise. These sound like bad cards but early drops are essential to getting anywhere with the deck. Problem is, it could also cause you to draw three 10 drops in the first few turns. Which brings up the issue that makes this a bit awkward for actual competitive constructed play: you generally want to draw a good curve in the early game and draw your answers when you need them, especially later on in the game, if you're playing midrange or control (which you are if you are playing this card; face shaman isn't touching this card with a ten foot pole). I'm sure we'll see the Trolden clip where someone gets Baron Geddon or Deathwing, then follows it up with a King Krush lethal, but most of the time you would prefer to draw a card you put in your deck over a random legendary, in this meta.
But in arena, this card must be ridiculous. Thing is, you have to be playing against Kripp if you want the luck of drawing your perfect curve, and then drawing powerful legendaries. Basically, you need Ben Brode to personally "shuffle" the cards in the perfect spot of your deck.
Now 35 legendary deck :P
Now 35 legendary deck :P
so when it says "Random" does it mean from what you can have in the class being played (making it similar to discover where you can't get cards outside of your class) or can you potentially get Tirion in warrior, Velen in mage (20 damage pyroblast gg :).), Huhuran in rogue, or even Jaraxxus on anyone?
