Would that use the yog-saron random targeting thing?
I think this is going to run into the issue that the Combo Rogue deck does; if all your cards require something else to happen, you can't trigger anything. If all your deck does is discard and draw cards, your are looking at either half to less than half a deck. Doomsayer takes four cards now, Succubus takes two, Soulfire takes two, and Darkshire Librarian takes three. Assuming no hero power, and your opponent can withstand that onslaught, and that all of those cards get played without getting discarded (all highly unlikely), you are looking at 22 cards. Even if all you run are the typical low cost minions, I think you burn yourself into fatigue before you kill your opponent.
At least is not "Whenever you discard a card, gain +1 attack per card discarded" .
Tiny Knight of Evil
Gonna make a call on discard mechanic won't see any plays as long as it won't get something insane like 5 mana 8/8 (fel reaver) or 4 mana 7/7. The reason for that is really simple. Discard is basically means milling yourself. To make milling yourself viable, you must play something INSANELY tempoish. Fel reaver was great example of it and saw some play. But currently only relatively decent tempo discard card is a doomguard, which is just not enough to justify losing your deck two times as quickly. No amount of draw/discard alteration mechanics will account for that.
Dream Start...........
Turn 1: Malchezaar's Imp
Turn 2: Tiny Knight of Evil
Turn 3: Darkshire Librarian + Soulfire
Turn 4: The Coin + Doomguard
Turn 5: Doomguard (Draw 2 Fist of Jaraxxus)
Turn 6: Dark Bargain
As we don't have a graveyard in Hearthstone, we need something else to make discard decks viable. I was thinking in a card like N'Zoth that returns your discarded minions to play, or at least to your hand. Otherwise, with only 30 card in the deck, discard isn't really an option.
Nope
"Discard" and "Shuffle back into your deck" ridiculously different mechanics lol, have you been making this mistake long? Wouldnt it be obvious?? How is this a question...
Nice to see a new Demon. We need more demons, to make some synergy in standard
Indeed it seem blizzard want's to focus on randomness and a little beast synergy
Yeah, al though the other classes get synergy, Lock is left with being Zoo, unless discard finally becomes a thing. Demon was pretty cool with Voidcaller
Zoo is just fast plays and nothing else, i have zoo deck and warlock is my favorite so i try to make all kind of decks after you win games with the same combo you really want to play something else, i even made a reno deck with wilfred fizzlebang and it was the best time i had even if i lost.
All we need to make the discard mechanic a little bit viable now is to have a card that reads. " When you play a card that discards a card discard this card instead", it can have more to it. The discard mechanic has a lot of potential Blizzard just needs to expand on it more.
Hmmm i have made an idea, lets see if it works it will be fun.

Not yet...
Scuubus anybody?
Gotta get some health! I am going to fatigue too fast!!!
I have to wonder why Blizzard is only helping Zoolock here. That's where a 1/3 may actually see play, and this synergises well w/ a double soulfire, double doomguard deck. Can't see this in really any other deck, though: discard is far from being a decent mechanic to build a deck around.
