Lets find the real cost of all this, so 6/6 divine shield and since its a class card, it can be better than lord of the arena. on average, i think divine shield costs 1 mana. the 5/3 weapon is similar to acolyte reaper and because its a deathrattle it could have an extra durability, acolyte is 5.

Tirion actually should cost TWELVE MANA. Most broken card in the game.

But, twelve mana that can have 7 of it sapped away by a silence. I turn 8 6/6 will really mess up tempo.

So a 6/6 plus a 5 cost weapon for 8 mana? Am I missing something here? So the 6/6 with divine shield basically costs 3? That's totally balanced and in line with all the other class legendaries.

Except if your opponent silences him the value plummels. Every single opponent that runs a silence will keep it for Tirion, and if they don't, they're probably either severely misplaying or playing aggro, so they've probably already lost by the time Tirion is played.

Note this is also from a time when Muster for Battle and Shielded Minibot didn't exist and Paladin had a disastrous early game, which is why he got that lategame wonder.

You want to talk about Balance? Ever play Tirion against a priest?????

So the weakness of Tirion is that he's too strong? Every other big minion is vulnerable to being mind controlled. And say, if you're playing some sort of control paladin with all the big minions(non-existent not because it'd be weak but because of how strong aggro and mid range pala is), is there honestly a better target for mind control than Tirion? 

I just got one today, too bad i already dusted all my other Paladin cards :( Time to save some dust

Yes, already had this experience. But he saved my round many many times. Great card.

He is the reason to play Paladin.

I like the current one, the touch of the ashbringer glowing and pulsating much more often + the lightning seals it for me.

This card is insane if the opponent can't deal with it efficiently.

This guy is so easily silenced...super late so most of the time when my opponent plays it i still win.

i still wish i played paladin so i could have him though. easily the best class legendary.
