can make an entire Darkshire npc deck that might be kind of playable.

This card is not weak at -all. In fact, I think it's about equal to a 3/2. 4/1? Yha, sure. It's a free kill for mages, but is it really? After all, they lose two mana. Which, turn 3, is a HUGE tempo loss, it's the entire turn. 1-for-0, yes, but still, they're not killing your one drop, or contesting anything. It's a beast so synergy, and it deals 4 dmg to Druid/Rogue. But think about it against the 6/9 classes that can't deal 1 damage so easily. They have to expend actual resources to kill this, and this thing trades with 3, 4, and some 5 drops!

I think it's better than people have been giving it credit. It's not meta-defining, but it's not useless in my opinion.

because a 1 health minion on turn 3 against your opponents turn 4 is way worse then turn 2 vs 3

One drop kills this and what about the 9/10 times you do not draw this by T2?  It's then just a pointless dead card in your hand.

but zombie chow is pretty bad if you don't play it by turn 4 and that somehow worked out to be almost a broken card in arena

The card this reminds me more is one-eyed cheat, which gave me a lot of fun and some wins :D the one toughness is a big drawback, the cheat had a cool way of working around that, so was natural to me to think about a possible sinergy that could make this card interesting.

Hunter class specific could be cool, "Whene you summon a Beast gain charge" seems too powerful tho, I ended up with "When one of your minions dies gain charge", this would make the drawback irrelevant in some situations, which for me is needed to make the card playable, and the condition itself doesn't really go well with face hunter, while beeing a great tempo gain in the (hopefully to come) slower decks, what do you guys think?

The One Eyed Cheat actually worked in the pirate deck cause as you said, you can proc it's ability over and over. This piece of garbage though is just a worse Magma Rager, unless you can hunter buff it somehow.
