Except you have to have C'thun for this card to work....
yogg ain't BAD ETHER ragnaros light lord is also really good
The first Old Gods card that I decided to craft! 10/10 will craft again!
Opened a Golden in my 50 pack opening. Very slick.
Lacking C'Thun in your hand, turn 10 Brann + this is pretty much GG too: 12/18 stats with 3 Taunts even without Brann's 2/4. Hell, given that Brann is likely the one minion to survive whatever your opponent throws at your board, that might even be a better t10 if you do have C'thun in hand.
C'Thun should be played after the twins if it's in your hand and you have the two pieces for this combo, as you said, the chances of brann's survival are great unless the other guy is going to play a strong god play.
this card is like the new Dr. Boom for Standard. Not exactly the same but having 2 4/6 with taunt at turn 7 is really good.
Thank god it's only for C'thun decks, Dr. 7 was broken because it was so easy to just put him in a deck as a general late game card no matter what. But a card like that is what makes C'thun decks as strong as they are.
Should i craft him? I have 6000 dust, but i want meta to settle a bit so i could see what should i craft? :/ Any help would be appreciated!
When it comes to cthun decks I would recommend this card. It is pretty reliable when playing against some aggro decks like shaman and hunter. I often find myself playing veklor together with bran which provides a really strong 3x 4/6 minion wall. While having this or the 2x wall up you can try to prepare for finishing your opponent.
To sum it up. I would say you should craft it. It's really good to slow down aggro decks AND control/cthun decks.
That is a dirty dirty combo, and I appreciate it
Of course the meta will change, but i don't think c'thun decks will be useless. MAYBE there will be more counters to c'thun decks but i don't think that they will be unplayable.
Thx for info man, appreciated it and I will definitely craft him in a couple of days :))
If I've seen enough metas shifting, I'm sure that a solid counter to C'thun will crop up in the future. Though, I can't believe a strong counter to C'thun will stand without obvious weaknesses, which means it's not a stable counter, therefor it's still worth to have a C'thun deck on standby. I suspect that it's worth throwing 1600 dust for this card, as it makes an entire C'thun deck twice as strong, and I don't think the meta will shift very soon, at least it will hold until the next expansion.
This is our town, scrub!
Yeah, beat it!
Turn 7 momentum shift...seems familiar.
Has anyone noticed how the hand most easily visible is backwards? The thumb is facing the wrong way...
