as priest you got a lot of other healing effects, which is the reason why the full heal of healing bot is not required -

to get more stats is good to contest vs. midrange decks, and you don't miss that much heal/tempo if you can sometimes not play a card

Nice, also now that heal bot is gone, this fills his empty spot pretty well, and is more flexible since can chose target or become dmg card.

When did non-shadowform Priest use healbot?

Grinder Priest used 1 copy, burst heal was always good against I feel ickys and portals online

This makes the new Ancient of Lore seem even worse

Not really a fair comparison, but okay. 

Pretty much a Chillwind Yeti combined with a Flash Heal.

Yeah, and combining cards normally makes them much better.
