turn 9 - Blade of C'Thun
turn 10 - Shadowcaster it
or
turn 10 - Shadowcaster into Shadowcaster
turn 11 - Blade of C'Thun + 1/1 Shadowcaster
Blood of The Ancient One could really pull some crazy things here.....
I did that today, and then I hid Ragnaros and his son behind a Crazed Worshipper. Result= 8 damage to a Highmane, 8 damage to face, leaving hunter with 3 hp. gg
Dream: Emperor Thaurissan hitting Brann Bronzebeard plus two times this.
Turn ten drop Brann, shadowcaster on Brann, shadowcaster on shadowcaster.
You can now make unlimited copies of nearly anything you play from now on.
I can see this happening this way.
-plays the combo
-enemy summons c'thun and kills you
-get sad
Reno Jackson:''Time to get rich boys''
*"We are gonna be rich"
The strongest move with this card are not the insane combos everyone writes here. The strongest move with this card is to copy Gadgetzan Auctioneer. Once you copy him, the Game can get insane. Having a 1 mana auctioneer is insanity. You can nearly draw your entire deck with it. Heck, if the original stays on the field too, miracle can be back.
Yeah, in late game theory though... you'd still have to play both these cards at 6 mana, then 5. So by turn 7 (unless you were stacking coins with Cutpurse You's have better played most of your cards or you'll over stack your hand.
Yes, but... It won't be a classic miracle deck, with exclusively a miracle win-con. This interaction (and plenty of others like it) will be a wacky midrange reno-esque miracle enabler.
Don't forget how much card-generation effects have been added - Tomb Pillager, Jeweled Scarab, Burgle, Nefarian - since the true Miracle days. Add to this Undercity Huckster, Thistle Tea, and maybe more.
We'll have a rogue that follows the RenoLock gameplan of keeping up with midrange minions, in Rogue's case going the deathrattle route. Then it'll stockpile some random yet decent spells through the game, filling the hand but still playing about a minion a turn, and using the class spells from your deck to keep tempo. And then plop some Shadowcaster shenanigans into the thick of it, power through the endgame with Gadgetzan Auctioneer, unload your mediocre spells and draw a fresh hand of endgame weirdos, N'Zoth inclusive, Reno up...
Pretty sure it'll happen. Maybe not at all, but seems super strong to me.
All these combos you guys are talking about are not gonna stop SMOrc hunters or any aggro from murdering you. And no there wont be a control meta.
ladies and gentleman if this card wont get nerfs this card will definatly broke the game harder than undertaker hunter did . . .
So, you drop Brann + Shadowcaster to get 2 copies of 1/1, so we get 2 Branns in hand. (8 mana)
Next turn you drop a 1/1Brann + Coldlight + Shadowcaster for 2 Coldlight 1/1 and 4 cards drawn. (9 mana)
Next you go 1/1Brann + 1/1Coldlight + 1/1Coldlight + Coldlight for 12 cards drawn. (6 mana)
Lucky to pull off but Mill Rogue could be insane with Shadowcaster and some luck. A lot of luck. Get lucky.
Now they have to kill reno if you play that ridiculous deck. It's also good in mill to just get 2 more 1 cost cold lights in the hand.
Maybe a late game rogue will show up.
Copying deathrattle minons such as Sylvanas or Cairne allows N'zoth the Corruptor to summon the minion twice.
Forces your opponent to prioritise the Rogue's board way more than before this expansion after turn 5, regardless of whether it's in your deck or not.
I can envision some ridiculous plays with this. A nice idea with interesting possibilities.
Yogg Saron round 2?
It would deal 1 damage xD
Ur thinkin about C'Thun
Yes I am, whoops.
