it's like ram wrangler in hunter, but this card is straightly better imo
Faceless Summoner: "See! This is how it's done! You Puny! Shameful! Bunch! of! Tentacles!!!"
Herald Volazj: "Please... Please stop hitting my face..."
I've seen enough hentai to see where this is going...
This is so broken. You can get so awesome 3-drops, like brann or the injured blademaster beeing a 4/7 without its battlecry, or a flamewaker. At least you could get a plain 2/2 and even thats awesome. Just wow.
To the people who are saying that this is only good in arena and not competitive play, this card will be RIDICULOUS in constructed. Mages tend to play low-tempo cards on turn five (azure drake, ethereal conjurer, loatheb, and maybe healbot depending on what type of mage you are), this basically draws you an additional card and play it immediately and gain you back that tempo. Not to mention that the 3 mana might have an immediate effect on the board (ex: arcane golem). This card, unlike what people might think, is immune to AoE because on turn six there doesn't exist an AoE that guaranteed deals 3+ damage (hellfire doesn't count since it's very situational), and there are no AoE that deal 5 damage. Also, mages have always had the problem of playing too much spell and too little cards with a minion body. This basically puts an extra minion card into your deck because the 3-drop you get are often going to be solid, which allows mage deck to be more spell-heavy than general. Perfect card for the current tempo mage I'd say
this card op 3 mana 5/5
Seriously, this is straight up broken, period.
mage is the best class proven by 3rd mage hero released while some classes don't even have at least one alternative.
Best Class legendary, best spells, best everything, etc. <3 to play mage.
Another's class legendary is the mage's common card.
Just deal with it.
lol noob! Antonidas is the gameover card. And Tyrion is just a bigger sunwalker for 8 mana. For 8 mana i can do at least 1 fireball before you kill antonidas and next turn you just loose, with thaurissan discount i can get insane value with Antonidas play that will just win the game in following turn.
Enjoy your Bolvar Fordragon silly pal
actually it is sticky in a way because you have two cards.
I believe that the new meta revolves around cards that get you two cards worth of play. Not that the value is out of line, but in the outgoing meta, you would usually play two cards to get this much on board
I can see the Wild dream now. Brann Bronzebeardinto this into double Deathlords. Biggest middle finger to aggro lmao
you could preemptively play your brann bronzebeard
The average 3 drop is a 2/3 which means most of the time it will be as effective as the shredders deathrattle, however it is a battlecry so it is stronger in that regard and you cant get "loose the game cards" like Doomsayer or Captain's Parrot. Just dont' get get your hopes up that will will get much more than 7/8 in stats which for 6 mana is still fantastic.
Love how Blizzard chose Noxious, A man that loathes and actively protests Shredder on his channel to showcase Faceless Summoner tp the world
This card is ridiculous, and not in a good way. There is literally no situation where this card is bad because the worst it gives is Silverback Patriarch [/card], or [card] Magma Rager . At least Shredder could give you Doomsayer or Captain's Parrot. This should a 4/4 or a 5/5 with some kind of condition like casting a spell on the same turn, or even better, the previous turn. As it stands now, this card is stupidly strong, boring, and cements Mage even further as a pick in arena. On the bright side, at least it's a class card.

Overall, I'd say it's definitely extremely strong, no doubt about that. But I'm skeptical if it'll see play. Midrange Mage has never been a deck and is this card good enough to build one around? Especially with the loss of the Go-to Piloted Shredder? We'll have to see.
I feel it's most comparable to Silver Hand Knight and Piloted Sky Golem. Silver hand knight is a 4/4 + 2/2 for 5 and that's never seen any real constructed play. This costs one more mana and you get +1/+1 on both minions(On average). And compared to Piloted Sky golem, which only rarely saw play even in Mech decks, It's got the same amount of total stats (Albeit arguably better distributed), Is faster since you summon the minion straight away and can't be silenced but summons a weaker minion, doesn't have Mech synergy and is more vulnerable to AOE.
ice ranger is not a "good" drop. It dies to most 1 drops, though your list is very comprehensive and detailed for the most part. Also anything with taunt can be conceptually good in some cases so you might want to mark them as situational even if they are not very good, same goes for charge.
Im sorry, WHAT?! This card is not good. It is not bananas. It is.... one of the best cards I've EVER seen. It's not always better than, but sometimes better than Piloted Shredder for one!
5 drops usually have 10-11 stats. This has 10 stats, making it worth 5 mana. So for ONE mana, you get a 3 drop that is generated out of nowhere! That's the big part. That's -SO- good. Is there even a 3 drop that can wreck you like Doomsayer does? I'm pretty sure the worst case scenario here is a card with generally bad stats like Magma Rager and even than, I would play Magma Rager if he was 1 mana and didn't take up deck space! This card is bonkers. The only reason I do not call it broken and "Dr. 6" is because it is a turn 6 play. Part of the madness of Piloted Shredder was that it just cost 4 mana, making it an early-to-mid game play. A card you wouldn't be really upset if it ended up in your starting hand, but wouldn't be upset for drawing it turn 7-10 either. This being a 6 drop makes it situationally worse than shredder. Except for that? Love it, think it's going to be a 100% mage staple, and I also think it's going to open the way for Midrange Mage to be a very very powerful deck in standard, you already have Water Elemental, a card so good that even when Piloted Shredder is still in the meta it is played and sometimes played INSTEAD of Piloted Shredder. Add this, Ethereal Conjurer, and the turn 7 boardwipe we all love and fear at the same time, Flamestrike, and you have.... a very very solid midrange deck. I am happy and excited. This entire spoiler month people have been going on about how the Meta is going to slow down but there werent really cards that promised that, this card, is a card that I think will. After all, Mid-range decks are generally slower than Face Decks, but they also do quite well against them.
9/10 love it!
Perfectly balanced! Kappa!
