Card Clarifications
- Yogg's Battlecry effects all potential targets, including your own hero. (Source)
- Yogg is able to hit himself with the spells cast. If he dies during the Battlecry, it will still continue. (Source)
- This is no longer the case. If Yogg kills himself, the spells stop.

If not targgeteable spells like: Anyfin Can Happen, Avenging Wrath, Enter the Coliseum, Stand Against Darkness, Consecration, Muster for Battle, Equality and secrets in general work like you (or Yogg) is the caster then there will not be RNG (well exept for avenging but it will only damage the enemy). If thats the way Yogg will work then it can be really good in a deck of that kind.
Also notice that Draw card spells would be bad becouse you will end up milling yourself.
i'm pretty sure yogg can do anything to your minion's and your face he could swipe you kill your own minions etc and execute is a minion only card
He can't do any of that. Swipe specifically says "Enemy Minions" on the text.
You shouldn't play with it intendedly, but getting this from Golden Monkey in Priest will be hilarous.
Gotta love how this apparently doesn't trigger mana wyrm or flamewaker. That was it's potential to be good. Like this it'll be played as a fun card, but won't create any new good decks. Kinda sad.
Not saying this card sucks though. I mean, it can't kill you, so it'll be fun to watch some trolden clips of this card.
One last thing though, i was expecting Blizzard to shift away of the whole incredible RNG thing. I though they were making the game a little more skillbased, with standard and the whole gvg madness rotating out. But apparently the reign of the lucky continues.
Haha yeah. A ten mana super heavy RNG card is only now trash (it was always trash) because it doesn't work with Mana Wyrm...
It's a super fun card that is super not viable.
Just saying. With it triggering flamewaker, you'd have an opportunity to build a deck around it that actually kinda works without getting extremely lucky. It's just so odd to me that they make this huge rng card and then rob it of the only synergy it kinda had.

can't see it as an always-played card . but it MIGHT be a game winner ( think about it . you keep this in hand until your in losing mode . nothing to play in a full turn . you play this and ... (rest of the story , depends on your RNG) )

Do you think you will get overloaded if he casts spells with over load? Or if you are over loaded already and he casts lava shock will that remove your locked mana crystals? Anyone know?

Wouldn't be that bad to pull astral:
It gives you filled mana crystals and there's about a 12% chance in standard for each spell to draw you cards so you'll have played a 10 mana minion and then get to take your turn again.
in a control deck I'd be more worried about fatiguing yourself to death.
