Card Clarifications
- Yogg's Battlecry effects all potential targets, including your own hero. (Source)
- Yogg is able to hit himself with the spells cast. If he dies during the Battlecry, it will still continue. (Source)
- This is no longer the case. If Yogg kills himself, the spells stop.

Mages and Rouges everywhere are salivating
Erm...so, I assume that attack spells will target enemies and buffs will target friendly units...right? If not, then this card is RNG incarnate, but I see myself killing myself more often then my opponent.
Great way to Twisting Nether the 10 mana minion you just played
Battlecry triggers before minion enters on the boards so it would clear whole board and THEN play Yogg.
Nope, he would die
The minion is considered on the board once you place it, but not summoned until its battlecry is resolved. So cards like sword of justice and knife juggler that trigger after a minion is summoned will wait until the battlecry has resolved before triggering.
RNGesus give me strength
Can't wait to hit myself 3 times with Pyroblast!
Or cast Tree of Life when you almost kill yourself with the second Pyroblast
Kappa
The battlecry effect triggers all at once, but they are queued up separately so the player can see each happen one after the other. Basically, this means that Yogg comes into play, battlecries, all the spells and targets are chosen (one after the other, so you dont target dead things), then the spells are enacted. If he sheeped himself (if that's even possible), his battlecries would have already taken effect.
Whenever there are lots of triggers happening all at once, just know that everything is decided ahead of time but is shown one after the other (for an example, try attacking something with a boom bot and then immediate use another minion to attack. If the bot killed something, it wont be a valid target, even though its on the board until the bomb goes off)
Don't worry, the effect will keep going, so he can Polymorph himself two or three more times!
A whole new level of crazy has been reached.
that is completely crazy, I have so many questions
I can answer one of them - the spells cannot target Yogg-Saron, because he's technically not on the field while the Battlecry is being resolved.
Battlecry -> Summon, right?
"Yogg-Saron can target himself, but even if he's destroyed or transformed, the full Battlecry still takes place." - (Source)
Then he's an exception to the general rule, I guess.
Well, this mainly stems from how battlecries interact with Mad Scientist. If a minion' Battlecry kills a Mad Scientist and it pulls a Mirror Entity, the Mirror Entity triggers immediately and copies the minion that destroyed the Mad Scientist. That's why the general conclusion is "It's not considered in play until the Battlecry resolves". Otherwise the Mirror Entity would have been put in play after the minion has already entered the battlefield.
I guess the minion is interactable when summoning, but its not fully summoned until its battlecry is fully resolved.
Serious mode: This is a truly insane effect - I have no idea how this even works. What I do know is that, if it works like I think it will, Yogg will be in every deck ever made. I mean, if you put this guy down after you cast 15 spells, you get 15 free spells. Who cares what they are - that's just value right there.
