This card looks good but in reality its meh. Lets start with empty mana crystal. Firstly its unplayable at 10 mana, so its a terrible wildgrowth. Secondly at 4th crystal skipping 5th crystal by playing weak body is bad. You would rather play Savage Combatant or Druid of the Claw at next turn unless you play very heavy rampant. In both cases I'd prefer wildgrowth over this since 4 mana 3/3 is negligeble.
Now 4 mana 3/3 and 2/2 is somewhat decent for zoo. Is it good enough to take spot of other 4 drops? It feels pretty subpar to the most stuff like yeti or savage honestly and thats not even considering if druid will actually play zoo or not.
I like this card, will run in C'Thun deck for sure.
So, if you choose the ooze is like a -1/-1 Silver Hand Knight for 1 less mana; if you choose the mana cristal, It's like a 2 mana 3/3 draw a Wild Growth and play it. It's pretty good.
Why would you want the ooze like ever?
At 10 mana you genius
Wild growth nerf incoming?
Seems good, but definitely not the design I expected him to be.
This card is very good. Not insane, like Darnassus Aspirant, but still very good. It will see constructed play imo.
it need to be summon 2/2 beast why ooze?
So there are no beasts in Swamp?
giant toad or dragon fly can found in swamp maybe summon 3/2 huge toad or swamp dragon in uo :D
Flexible for both early and late game. 4 mana slot which is pretty empty besides keeper. And another way to ramp, without losing it like with aspirant. Pretty solid card.
Very solid card, looking forward to playing the new Druid archetype assuming it isn't a bunch of big vanillas.
There's absolutely no reason to go for the ooze ever. Druid wants to ramp so they can get out their big muscular hunky dudes.
One reason I can think of: a common situation like on turn 4 you have a 5 drop in hand for next turn but no big 6, 7 etc has been drawn so can't use that extra mana on your next turn then why not pick the ooze for a stronger board presence.
Shrek?
I really hope the flavor text has something to do with shrek. Blizz has the perfect opportunity here
