I actually won several games in legend with a murloc shaman similar to that in the deck recipes (I only changed 1 Cult Master for Old Murk-Eye)... maybe I got lucky?
I love Murloc Shaman... quite tough to play because of board clears, but leads to some amazing games (and insane bursts out of nowhere thanks to everyfin and bloodlust)
I love murloc shaman, but i think you are having LUCK =D
The synergy between this and Steward of Darkshire is terrifying. Aggro Murloc Paladin might be a very big problem.
The normal Paladin hero power works with that Steward of Darkshire.
The difference between the Murloc hero power and the Silver Hand one is the buff potential built into Murlocs.
Yeah those two cards should never be in the same deck.
We are talking about two different kinds of deck:
1. OTK murloc paladin, with anyfin can happen and whitout this new card.
2. Aggro murloc paladin, with this new card and without anyfin can happen (probably without any card with 6 mana cost or higher).
Anyway, this card should be neutral. Like someone else said, a shaman aggro deck with this card would be nice.
Playing 1/1 2 mana minions is anyfin but aggro play.
Of couse you will not use your hero power as a priority move, but some times when you dont have better options or to play on curve you have to use it, and a 1/1 murloc is better than the silver recruit in an aggro murloc deck.
I not sure - but is that a paladin hero power?
I am the... I... I am the only one who get's triggered by the art of this card? I mean it looks awesome but.... why Paladin?
He's holding a staff - Wearing a robe - Casting some fiery spell.
If I follow the World of Warcraft lore, this nothing to do with Paladins.
Interesting card tho, made for murloc synergy. We'll see if It works or not.
Edit: If this is an april 1 joke you got me Blizzard.
Im not sure its rotating, Murk Eye IS on deck recipes for paldin class
Most of the cards aren't on the official homepage, so that isn't a proof
Very nice idea, but currently it's totally overpowered. Raise the mana cost or nerf it differently.
Nice this would make Murloc Shaman catch up
I'm suspicious that this is an april fools trick
Mrlgrlgrl for duty!
